The cups are great: I fill them to 1/3 only - and they truly do not spill. Great job here!The brushes however are bad quality: bristles are uneven, some stick out, some fall off from time to time. They are to hard in general. The idea is cute but needs improvement. I also realized that while a short and thick handle is very useful, the brush itself is also too thick - my 2 year old daughter covers the whole piece of paper with color in seconds.

This set seemed economical but they are really cheap. The lids started cracking (breaking) and are not air tight. So leftover paint dries up very quickly. The lids also pop open easily defeating the spill proof purpose. The brushes were hardly used since they were the tough nylon variety and hence didn't glide well.

I bought these for my 3 year old who loves to paint and they held there own. I love the 2 lid action, which is perfect so he doesn't waste paint nor make a huge mess when they tip over.

I love the paint cups & brushes for my 2 year old niece;, they are just the right size. The website said that it included a plastic paint tray palette & that the "kit comes in a soft plastic carrying case." I did not receive either of these items; only the paint cups & paint brushes. THe description of the item needs to be updated to match the product. I would have liked to have known there wasn't a case for storage.

Wanted small cups for my toddler who got a Step2 art desk for x-mas. These are perfect. Saw the big cups and thought they'd be overkill for the amount of painting that he will be doing.
