I made the mistake thinking this would work on a built-in tub. It does NOT. the thread is too long. Did not work for me at all. It has a nice finish though, so it will look nice in your standalone tub!

I have been putting off replacing my tub drain and after using this kit I wish I hadn't. This kit has a really easy to use pop up drain you work with your foot, just push lightly down with your toes and it will pop open or closed. The finish is a bright and shiny chrome.
