I feel I was tricked by the 5-star reviews I saw for this air conditioner. It never gets cold and only blows hot air. I have to fill it with about 10 bottles of cold water then added the ice packs they provided. Turned it on and pressed the cool button, waited over 6 hours and it was nothing but hot air. It's basically just a fan that I bought. The water is gone within about 6-8 hours then you need to fill up the water tank again. On top of that, it's loud, nothing positive about this so called portable air conditioner. Such a waste. Had I not seen the 5-star reviews, I would not have wasted my money. Now I am seeing the less than 5-star reviews a couple of weeks later, WOW.Very upsetting. Don't waste your money, this product does not work as it states!!

Thank the nerds that have blessed us withAC units and portable ones. My room was reaching 80° even with a fan. I bought this baby and now my room is cool, and I can sleep peacefully. This does make a fan noise so if you don’t like hearing a fan, you’re not gonna like it. It does have a “quieter” setting on it, but you can still hear it. Three speed modes, and a swing mode. Also, it gives you four ice packs but if you have ice packs in your freezer, you could use those too.

Not impressed! Especially with what the 5 star reviews indicated which is why we purchased it. First, it was not as quiet as most reviews stated. We had it in our bedroom and it was loud. Plus, the instructions were obsolete in describing the different modes. It was a guessing game… in addition, it continued to turn off and on throughout the time we had it running. We are not sure if this was normal because nothing in the operating manual stated so. The cooling came from water that had ice packs to cool the air. Not a bad concept, but to cool a whole bedroom we were not impressed. We would not recommend this product and we returned it.

I am so pleasantly surprised with this portable A/C unit!! I didn't want something that attached to the window with all the hoses and complicated set up. And I wanted something portable that I could move from the livingroom during the day and then to the bedroom at night for sleeping, but have it be large enough to get the job done. This unit is perfect and fits everything I was looking for! It’s simple to set up, easily moves on wheels from room to room, and has enough power to cool a whole room.I also really like that it just cools the room without making it freezing cold like other A/C units. It has a large 2.6 gallon tank (and four ice packs) that allows it to cool rooms fast and lower the air temperature. It can keep cooling up to 24 hours without needing a water refill which is great.Another bonus is that it uses less electricity than other large A/C units which helps keep the electricity bill down in the summer. And it's super quiet! It has a remote control and timer, which is very helpful! I love being able to set the timer for it to start cooling the room before I get home. I would definitely recommend this A/C unit for all of these reasons!
