This isn't an AC unit. It's a fan that comes with two poorly made ice packs. You freeze the icepack, insert one in front of the fan, and it blows air across it. In the short time I had the item before returning it, one of the icepacks busted open during freezing. Just a poorly made piece of garbage. You're better off investing more money in a better quality item.

I bought two of these, one for each of my kids. The first works just fine, but the second arrived without a power cord and is useless without it. I’m guessing spotty quality control with this seller. I likely won’t be purchasing again.

I live in an old house with zero AC, and this little guy is a LIFESAVER! I freeze the included ice trays overnight, pop them in the tank, and aim it at my bed. The cold breeze lasts hours—I woke up at 3 AM and it was STILL blowing cold! My cat even curls up next to it(probably stealing the cool air 😂). If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You won’t regret it!

Works great for my hot flashes! You have to make sure the ice cubes are standing straight up when you put them in the freezer. No complaints

I purchased this as a low cost option for climate control in my Martha Tent, I grow gourmet mushrooms; I hooked it up to the heat controller, and while it does *work*, it doesn't *remember* to turn itself back on when the ac power is restored. Great little unit, but it's not usable on temperature controllers, which makes it useless to me. I'll give it to a family member who I know can make us of it instead.

This is an interesting concept, but as another user said, the ice pack freezes with a bulge on the side and then doesn't fit the tank. The instructions say this can happen if you leave them in the freezer for more than 12 hours, but if you can't leave one in the freezer all the time to be able to always have one frozen to change them out, then what's the point?

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER A COUPLE USES:With all the positive reviews of "COOLS A STUFFY ROOM" and how it "FEELS GREAT" I am sad to find I am not one of those lucky few. My bedroom is a small, maybe medium-small size. So naturally I was excited. While I know nothing beats a window unit, I needed something for the in-between time.You see I bought this little unit to see if it helped my laptop at all, as it gives off some serious heat (Alienware m17 R4). But no matter where it was placed, it did NOT help. Fresh from the freezer it feels nice, but after 5-10 minutes it loses it's "greatness."I am also trapped by Perimenopause, and my box fan on medium speed keeps me cooler than this "air conditioner" did or ever could.The product lacks any sort of rubber feet and because of this, I did NOT feel secure leaving it on my nightstand for the "amazing" overnight use.It was a nice attempt, but it's a no-go from me.
