We’ve been able to set our baby down in the middle seat on this from 4 months to 9 months so far (21lbs 30”)I buckle the plane seat belt and Velcro the straps to it. The other strap goes around the tray table but some don’t have room for the buckle behind it so I end up making it really loose. The pillow helps when there’s too much slack.Since there are extra straps and whatnot where his feet go, I usually put down a blanket or jacket to cover it and make more comfortable. It packs well, so I bring on all our flights just in case no one sits in the middle. Now if only there were a way to block out the bright lights on a plane.

Well made. It’s true the straps won’t work for airplanes. I had to maneuver the item around to make it steady so, my baby won’t fall down the seat. Otherwise good product until it got stollen from us on the way out of the airplane 😕

Best design! Most other travel "hammocks" of this kind just hook around the seatbelt. Even if the seatbelt is buckled and pulled tight, those hammocks still slide down and bunch up. This one is perfect! It secures around the whole seat (you just need to get there first, so you can step into the row behind you to buckle the belt) and also has an "anchor" that you shove into the seat crack. It stays put! My 3.5 year old found it "very cozy" (her words) for sleeping. Slept the whole flight.

I purchased this product for my son for a long 9-hour flight, and it definitely came in handy, ensuring his comfort throughout the journey.**Cleaning:**The product is easy to clean, as you can simply throw it in the washer and dryer. I have washed and dried it three times since purchasing, and the quality has remained consistent.**Usage:**Using it on the plane is relatively straightforward. It extends the legroom for my son, allowing him to sit comfortably without his legs dangling. However, it is not suitable for kids to sleep on, as there isn’t enough room for that.Overall, this product is a great addition for long flights, providing extra comfort for young travelers, although it's best for sitting rather than sleeping.

This looks well made and feels nice and lightweight and easy to travel with. Seams are all smooth and the fabric is not thin or flimsy. The included inflatable pillow inserts into a zipper on the bottom. It folds up nice and small to slip into a carry on.

This was just what we needed to save our sanity and backs on our flight. Our baby is not a contact napper and wants to be laying down flat to sleep. This helped with exactly that.We heard some airlines do not allow these, so we discreetly set it up in the empty window seat next to us and once we were in the air we laid our baby down on it. He comfortably slept no problem the entire flight. It felt sturdy. Just keep in mind you still need to have an eye on your baby the whole time because they are not strapped in.
