Always test this device! Last time I tested it was over a year ago, it worked. Today I got poisoned in my semi truck and it didn't react at all! As they say, u get what u pay for. Get a higher quality co reader!

I hang this in my tent when camping. I use a diesel heater, however, like most applications, if the manifold cracks exhaust fumes could be blown into the tent while sleeping. This device is a quality product that alarms if Co2 fumes enter the tent. A true life-saving product at a good price.

I recently ordered this carbon monoxide detector because I am moving into a place with a gas range and was concerned that carbon monoxide would be present. This little device is excellent for camping, we run a diesel heater in our 10 and this is good just for that piece of mind to make sure that you’re definitely gonna wake up in the morning.

I was able to successfully test this unit with canned CO tester. We have canned CO to test CO detectors at my job. I gave this unit just a little puff from the test can and went into an alarm condition.

The build quality seems very good and the size makes it easy to view and easy to store. I tried testing it with my Mr Buddy heater in my living room but was not producing enough CO to register. I put it under the tail pipe of my car in an open garage and it quickly registered ppm of CO. It also displays temp and humidity which is nice to have handy as well. The one button operation takes a little getting the hang of but you really don't have to change it often. Haven't really had a chance to evaluate battery life.
