If the ice cubes stay in the machine for a long time, they will melt. It is recommended to put the ice cubes in an ice bag after the machine has finished making ice and store them in the refrigerator.

Really like this product. Gives as much ice as I want. But the downside is, water drips when I lift the ice tray out.

The machine takes about 8 or 9 minutes to make a batch of 9 ice cubes. The quality of the ice is not that great, as it melts quickly. What I do is store the ice in a small bag and keep it in the freezer. Honestly, I have gotten a lot of use out of this machine. I love it and recommend it to those who don’t have much space in their freezer to make ice.

I ordered this for my son's college apartment and it has been fantastic! In his apartment, they don't have an ice maker in the fridge, so this has come in super handy! Due to space constraints, he keeps it on top of his personal, small fridge in his bedroom.I own a GE Profile Opal nugget ice maker and can compare the two. This icemaker makes two sizes of ice. It makes 9 ice cubes every 8-10 minutes, depending on the size. This one performs just as well as my GE one. We use distilled water in the ice makers to ensure they don't get gunked up with mineral deposits. He has had his for a few months and hasn't had to clean it due to any buildup. It still performs beautifully. It makes the ice, dumps it into the container and when it melts, it goes through the process again. This is the same process as the GE ice maker. It's relatively quiet, but my son does prefer to turn it off when he sleeps.This is the perfect ice maker for camping, dorms, family room/theater room wet bar areas, or outdoors. I highly recommend this product. For the price, it is a great deal!

This compact ice maker works extremely well. After cleaning and letting it sit upright for 24 hours to make sure that the refrigerant has settled, the ice maker needs to be plugged in, filled to the max fill line, and powered on to start producing ice. It really is super simple to use.I thought I was doing something wrong when I could not get the machine to produce both small and large ice cubes. But I then realized that the two size cubes are very similar in size and hard to distinguish from one another. As a result, I'm going to set the machine to "small" to run through the freezing cycle just a tiny bit faster.The ice maker is not a freezer, so the ice cannot stay in the tray for long without starting to melt and clump together. This is definitely a use/freeze almost immediately type of machine. If it is cool where you are using the machine, you can wait a little while to empty the tray, but if it is warm/hot in the room, you'll need to empty the tray right away.This ice cube maker is small in footprint, not too loud when operating, and quick to produce cubes. I think it cranked out each batch in just over 6 minutes. This is my first portable ice maker, and I'm impressed with this little machine.
