**Background:** We have 2 Toyota plug-in Hybrids RAv4 prime and Prius Prime. Currently, we use the Toyota factory charger. One of chargers stopped working after an electrical storm. It costs over $600 to replace. So, I've been looking for a replacement, and this looked interesting.This is a review of the BETUMODA Portable Level 1 & 2 EV Charger, 16Amp, 25FT Cable, 110V-240V.**Build quality:**The build quality looks good. The wire from the charger display to the plug is super thick. This can be charged at different currents and voltages depending on what you plug into (your power source).We are using the BETUMODA with a 20 amp 120 volt line.I really like this charger, the adjustability, and the data it provides. You see the Voltage and the current, temperature, Power (KW), and Energy kWh.They provide a bracket to wall mount a charger if you want.I don't have access to a NEMA 6-20 240 plug available to test the 240-volt capability. But having this capability is nice, so when on a road trip, if we have access, we can use the faster charging capacity.Charger also comes with a nice travel bag.The Toyota factory charger really only tells you one thing it's charging or it's not charging or something's broken. The BETUMODA gives you so much information which really helps you figure out what's going wrong or if you're plugged into a questionable power source. I think the value the info and the flexibility make this a five star.I can't get report on the durability, but I will update this review if something goes wrong or there's any significant issue.

Throw it in the frunk and plug and play when you need it. So convenient. Monitor the progress on the display.

This unit is one the best, love the part where i can keep track of the status on my phone, I've gotten several of these units to test them out, so far they all stand up to the outdoor elements, and charges with no issues.

Nice EV Charger. Use it on our Kia Niro. I like the display, shows a lot of useful info. My favorite and best part of the charger is being able to change the amperage at which is chargers from the charger. Depending on the outlet you have, you may have to reduce the average. For level 1 at a standard 15amp plug, I change the charger to only pull 13amps. Works well, no issues!

I selected this charger to have a backup level 2 for my garage if my main charger has an issue. I had to get a small adapter to plug the Nema 6-20 into a nema 14-50 outlet in my garage. Once I got that, everything worked perfectly! As expected, I was able to pull about 3.6 kw at the 16A setting, which makes this a reasonable charger for overnight use. There is a delayed charge scheduling feature in the unit, but I haven't gotten the chance to use it yet. The build quality seems to be above average and the display showing current status is quite nice. I have been using this for about a week with a 23 Ioniq5 EV without issues. I think the price point is great given the features, overall a reccommend!

Needed a new charge as my wife decided to get a Tesla and I liked it this had the LCD screen on it so I know what's going on while charging. This is working really well so far I have had no issues on multiple charges. Hopefully everything continues to work great

Works like it should. Have to make sure you read the instructions for the first time use or you will think it doesn't work. You need to unlock it by holding down the two buttons for like 5 seconds.Works great as a level 1 and level 2 charger.I got this to have at my work in case I need to charge.

This charger is a great portable or permanent option for charging at home or on the road. While it's not designed to be out in the elements, the chord is good and along. The cable is robust and thick, and the adapter to standard wall outlet works well. I really like having the carrying bag which keeps everything tidy when I'm travelling, and the auto sensing of voltage picks up quickly whether it's connected to power enabling level 1 or level 2 charging. It also comes with a very simple wall mount for the charging brick, so you can get the pressure off the wall plug. No cord management behind Velcro however.

To be honest, I was a bit wary of buying this as it had a low review number and was reasonbly priced. But it had some nice features and the display was a plus.I own a Pacifica Hybrid and when the battery is at I was happy to find that it would do a full recharge in about 8 hours. When set at the 16 amp level, the readout states that it is pulling 12.4 amps when charging.Needless to say, this charger performs better than the factory charger. The cord is more than long enough and appears to be a heavy weight gauge wire. The charger comes in a nice carrying case for storage and also includes a bracket for mounting the controller on the wall.I am very happy with this purchase.
