Talk about amazing! I really needed a misting fan to help during power outages because of where i live. It gets extremely hot here and having a portable fan to keep my elderly mother cool in a pinch is necessary. Just the fact that you can plug this in or use a battery pack is helpful. It’s bright yellow so you will be able to spot it when it’s needed and that’s important. The handle is a rubber material. The tank is large enough to hold enough water for a few hours. You may have to fill it periodically depending on how hot and humid it gets and how quickly it would evaporate during those circumstances. It does what it is intended to do and I am grateful for that. Remember that you will have to buy the battery separately if you need it to run off of battery power. It does come with a small cord to plug it in. If you need a longer cord than the one provided I’m sure you could find one that works with it. Upon arrival the small cord and directions are stashed inside the tank on the bottom so make sure to open it to get to the directions and the plug. Thank you!

Needs an expensive battery to operate, no instructions, battery or cable included so unless you have the battery style or have a USB-C cable where you are using this, it might not be the best option for you. Also, why is there an LED rainbow light??? It's not Bluetooth. The speed of the fan is not very high on the highest setting so unless you are right next to it, it might be too far away to feel. I don't recommend this product .

To The Point:This portable misting fan works well and has useful features — but keep in mind, it ships without a battery and drains fast on high settings. My Opinion:I grabbed this misting fan to test as part of my outdoor gear setup, and functionally, it holds up. The mist output is fine and consistent, especially with the fan on medium or high. The 1.6L tank lasts a decent amount of time depending on your mist setting, and the fan pushes enough air to make a difference on hot days. The bonus LED light and timer are nice touches, but let’s be real — the big catch is that it comes with no battery. It’s compatible with 20V/60V DCB series batteries (like DeWalt), which is great if you already have one. Otherwise, it’s an added cost that can’t be ignored.Type-C input is handy, especially if you want to run it off power banksVariable speed settings make it versatile for different spacesMisting feature cools better than fan-only unitsBattery life depends heavily on fan speed — high setting drains fastPro Tip:Use it on low or medium fan speed for misting — it balances cooling and battery life much better than blasting it on high.My Verdict:I’d give this 3 out of 5 stars for performance and features, minus two for not including a battery and fast drain at max speed. A great summer companion if you're already in the DeWalt battery ecosystem.I hope this helps!Cheers,Straight Shooter

We like this and it really easy to set up.Its super quiet and multiple speed settings as well has 2 settings fornthe amount of water.I didnt have 20volt battery, so we used it plugged into.My only complaint is, it doesn't really put out a strong air flow. You pretty much have to be right next to it.All in all its nice to cut some of the heat.

I recently added this Portable Misting Fan to my setup, and it’s been a game-changer, especially during those hot summer days. The versatility is impressive—it’s perfect for everything from backyard patios to workshops. The fan works flawlessly with a DeWalt DCB205 20V battery (though 60V batteries are also supported) and even runs off USB-C, which is a thoughtful backup if you don't have a DeWalt battery lying around. The 1.6L water tank holds enough water to last 4-5 hours on medium misting mode, which is solid, considering the size. The mist itself is super fine—not the drippy kind, but one that actually cools the air without leaving everything wet. On the highest wind setting, it’s pretty powerful and covers a decent area, enough for a small patio or a garage workbench.I love the 8-hour timer, which allows you to set it and forget it. The fan speed is adjustable with a simple dial (no confusing touchscreens here), and the built-in LED light is a cool touch for nighttime use. The misting feature is also adjustable, and it doesn’t create a mess—just a nice, cool breeze.Build quality? Solid. The fan feels durable, with thick plastic housing and tight controls that give a confident feel. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough that it doesn’t tip over easily. Plus, it runs pretty quietly even at full speed.A couple of things to note: the water tank is on the smaller side, so you’ll need to refill it depending on your misting settings. Also, if you’re using the USB-C port, make sure to use a charger that supports at least 2A to avoid issues. While it’s advertised as having misting capabilities, it’s more of a fine water vapor, which works great in outdoor settings but can create some humidity indoors.Overall, this is an amazing portable misting fan that delivers more than expected for the price. If you’re looking for something to cool off during outdoor activities, at job sites, or just to chill on the patio, I highly recommend it.

I ordered this to try and keep my work room cool while I'm in there this summer. With limited circulation and insulation, it can be sweltering, and every little bit helps in keeping cooler. While it's not quite hot enough to be a problem yet, I've been testing this unit out in advance to try and see how well it will perform. The first thing I like is the weight of it. Even when full and with a battery clipped in (note that you'll need to provide your own) it's not particularly heavy, but it still has a reassuring amount of weight behind it that makes me think it'll stay put if anything bumps into it. The build quality is decent, but the lightweight plastic doesn't feel like it'll take too much punishment if you have it in an area where you might knock it with something. Still, it feels solid enough for what it's supposed to do.Naturally, there's no real oscillation, and while the air current it generates is modest, it's not really powerful enough to cool an entire room by itself. I think it works best if you just keep it pointed at the spot you'll be working most often, and when that changes you can just take it with you. On that note, it's surprisingly portable for a fan that size, and with a battery clicked into the top socket it's not much trouble to take it with you when you have to switch where you're working.Overall, I think it'll be a big improvement for me while working in the summer, but I was still kind of looking for something a little more powerful and comprehensive. I'd still recommend it if you just need to keep a localized area cooled down--a favorite chair or workbench, for example--but if you want something more effective I might recommend looking around for a bit first before you settle for this.

This little misting fan is a lifesaver in the summer heat—especially for seniors who need extra help staying cool without complicated settings. It’s got a nice big water tank and adjustable fan speed, and it runs quietly, so it won’t drown out conversations or TV.The Type-C charging makes it easy to power up (no weird cords to track down), and the LED light and 8-hour timer are great for bedtime comfort or porch sitting in the evenings. Perfect for hot porches, golf carts, or even indoor use when the AC isn’t quite cutting it.🧓 Grandkid bonus: Kids love the mist and lights—just a little extra fun while staying safe in the sun!

This cooling fan is super easy to use and works great outdoors to take the edge off a hot day. I do craft booths and it can be nice to have a little cool air when you’re out in the Texas sun. Also works great when you’re at the beach or just sitting outside on your porch and want to cool off. Using ice and cold water does make it more humid so it’s not something I would probably ever use in my house but outside it’s great. Inside I would probably just use the fan without the added H2O for cooling. It’s great that the fan blades are adjustable so you can have the airflow up down or straight out from the fan. LED lights are a little crazy but definitely could attract customers or be fun at night for a little dance party. It’s also nice that it comes with filter for the water And a spare set so you can change them when needed. Has a cord that allows you to plug it in provided you have a the actual plug-in for USB-C. It also has a space where you could use a portable battery, but it does not come with the battery. Overall it’s a great little product.

This is a cool fan great for a jobsite or desk. With it being portable you could really take it anywhere. The fan is large but surprisingly quiet. Its powerful and can be felt from a ways away even on a medium setting. The water misters are also powerful creating a nice cooling effect. It has a bunch of settings for both the fan and misters as well as a timer to dial in your personal comfort level.

I recently added this Portable Misting Fan to my setup because I needed something versatile for both my patio and garage work. I’m running it off a spare DeWalt DCB205 20V battery snaps in perfectly, no compatibility issues. It also supports 60V batteries if you have those. If you don’t have a DeWalt battery handy, it powers via USB-C, which is a thoughtful backup. The 1.6L water tank is decently sized it lasts around 4–5 hours on medium misting mode before needing a refill. Misting quality is excellent: very fine, non-drippy mist that actually cools the surrounding area without making it wet. On high wind speed, the fan pushes a surprising amount of air for its size definitely strong enough to cover a small patio seating area or cool down a workshop space. The 8-hour timer is a real plus for setting and forgetting it. Variable wind speeds are controlled via a simple dial (no gimmicky touchscreen controls), and the built-in LED light is bright enough for basic area lighting at night, perfect for camping or outdoor use.Build quality: rock-solid. The fan housing is thick, durable plastic, and all the controls have a tight, confident feel no flimsy parts. It’s compact and lightweight but doesn’t tip over easily. Also runs very quietly even on high.If you already own DeWalt batteries, this is one of the most flexible and well-built portable misting fans you can get. Great for outdoor gatherings, job sites, camping trips, or even cooling a greenhouse. Thoughtful engineering, zero obvious flaws. Highly recommended if you value rugged, dual-power gear that actually performs.

One of the things that makes this convenient is you can use Dewalt batteries for extended run time.I was able to use one for 8 hours straight using a 4ah DeWalt battery. You can also power it with a USB cable or power brick. So you can use it on job sites, in the garden or in the garage. You can program the timer to run for 2,4,6, or 8 hours, there is 7 light settings and 2 spray settings. You can also adjust the outlet a little bit; the only drawback is the tank that holds the water is a little small. The build quality is pretty top-notch.
