I need the white noise to sleep and I love the breeze. I already had a nice sleeping fan and a decent portable fan for travel. I wanted to get a fan for my lanai, but didn't want to take the trouble to install a ceiling fan, so I started searching for an alternative and found this little gem.

It's small but the output on this thing is actually impressive. It gives off a really good breeze. Comparable to a full size fan really. I was confused at first because this thing is QUIET. It barely puts out any sound at all. So to have the strong effect and nearly no noise at all was impressive in its own right. So I turned on the oscillation with the handy remote and went to bed. I conked out in about 20 minutes which is impressive for me.This rechargeable fan portable ran the whole night without issue. It was then that I knew I had made a good investment. This thing will prove invaluable on my future trips but also, if the power ever goes out on me in the middle of the night. Now I will ALWAYS have a quiet fan on hand and will never have to sleep in the heat again. Regardless of where I am.

Very quiet, operates smoothly and can rotate. Has a telescoping height feature.The remote control works great and the battery holds its charge for quite a long time.
