Great to print documents instantly. Keeps you from making trips to Staples. So small can be carried in purse/tote. Make sure you use thermal paper only. Works great!

Pros:1. Appears sturdy and of good quality.2. Print quality on both paper roll and flat sheets is very good.3. Comes with USB cable and USB A to C adapter.4. Includes a small roll of paper in box. (And only a small roll will fit into the printer anyway.)Cons:1. Instructions are not all that bad but are hardly intuitive.2. Instructions says it comes with "USB disk" containing Windows/Mac drivers, but this did not come in my package.3. When downloading drivers from the internet, type address exactly as shown (obviously), with a capital "D" in word "Drivers" (less obvious, even the "D" is in red ink).4. I was finally able to install the Bluetooth driver on my laptop but was unable to install USB driver.5. Blinking yellow light indicates printer is charging. The light blinked for around 5 hours while attached to a charger; it then went to a blinking red light--for which instructions had no mention, so I can't tell what percentage charge I have or if there's a problem with charging. (I printed while attached to a USB charger.)

I got this newer Thermal Printer as it takes flat paper as well as the inside rolled up kind. I had an older thermal printer that only used the rolls and it was terrible as the paper keeps rolling up & is impossible to flatten out. I baught my own flat paper that works fine with this. The instructions say it comes with a usb drive with the Printer Driver on it to load onto your computer.. Mine had no USB drive at all. Only the usb cable and a mac usb-a to usb-c adapter.. so i had to go to the website listed to download the Printer Driver. Once i did & installed it, it worked perfectly. They have instructions too to goto mac app store to get the software but thats only usable on an ipad. & i didnt want to put another app on my phone, so just using laptop version. Also i wanted this printer as it can hook up to laptop with USB cable as I dont want to use its wireless Bluetooth connection as id rather use that for my wireless headphones & not a printer. Its good it has both options & you can print from your phone too with blutooth, but i haven't set that up or tried it.

This is a great thermal printer. It's very compact and is very easy to use. The battery is amazing,, it charges fast and the battery life is great. It's perfect if you need to print something while on the go. The app is pretty good as well and it's easy to use.

This is my review of Yanxio’s Thermal PrinterThis printer is a battery operated, wireless (Bluetooth enabled), thermal printer. In my tests, I hooked it up to my iPhone, iPad, and even my main studio system. Since Mac is my primary operating system, I did not have the opportunity to check out how it operates using Android and Windows.Setup goes something like this:Turn on your computer, smartphone, or tablet (they will need to have Bluetooth support).Make sure that the printer is fully charged, then press the On button, until it begins to blink. In the Bluetooth settings, select the printer and connect (you may need to download some software, but that is explained in the instructions).Note: You can also connect to your desktop computer using the provided cable. That cable is also used to recharge the printer’s battery. You should now be able to use the printer from the print settings in your app of choice (MS Word, or other text or graphic program).Things To KnowThis is a thermal printer, so it requires special paper.Note: Thermal paper only allows for single-sided printing. The maximum size of the paper is standard 8.5x11/A4 but will accept papers down to 2 inches in width. If you are using smaller width thermal papers, you will want to use the paper that comes on a roll.Being thermal, it only prints in black and shades of grey.In normal operations it performs as any other printer, but it is slower. Depending on how much data is being printed, it can take up to a minute to print a single 8 1/2x11 page.Bottom LineI would not use this for a homebased desktop printer, but the ability to have a mobile wireless printer that you can use with a smartphone or tablet, makes it a valuable tool.

I had purchased a different thermal printer for my daughter to take to college and she uses it a lot so when it was time to send my son to college I knew I needed to get him one. This one cost less so I was not sure what to expect but in comparison this one is a better printer in many ways. This one has been a lot easier to set up and use. It fits in his backpack easily for printing on the go and the battery life is much longer than expected on one charge! So far it has connected perfectly to his iPad and iPhone. He has not printed any pictures with it but everything he’s printed thus far has come out crisp and clear to read. We are happy with this thermal printer and I wish I’d gotten the same one for my daughter.
