Awesome find. This portable range is functional and was easy to set up and clean. The noise level is lower than expected and we are pleased. This range includes filters to help with cooking smells and oils. We appreciate the functionality and the budget friendly price. This works great for our needs and we recommend it to others.

It's a quiet and powerful fan and it does trap grease. It's a little bulky for apartment-sized kitchens and circulates the cooking odors inside instead of blowing them outside like you might expect from a range hood. It has a charcoal filter but it becomes ineffective pretty quickly. If the stove was next to an outside window, it seems the blower would be much more effective. Outdoors, it should do a pretty good job of pulling smoke away from the chef.
