When i ise this ball picker, the rod keeps sliding down and i am not able to adjust it for long time.It is able to pick 1 or 2 balls at a time. But if there are multiple balls, there is a struggle to pick all of them together. But that is due to the way it has been designed.

Very lightweight, great for home use. It picked up the balls easily. There were no instructions so it took a second to put together. ( some instructions would have been nice ). The pole is retractable which is nice so it can be stowed away easily. All in all a handy device.

Every table tennis table should come with a net and a ball picker. The ball picker enables play to happen continuously with dozens of balls rather than chasing one ball all around the room between points or rallies. The ball picker also makes playing with a robot or training much easier and if the picker didn't come with the table, it should certainly come with a robot. I learned to play table tennis many decades ago in the days of sandpaper-faced paddles. While rubber-faced paddles were a revolution (and sponge was a further revolution), I unfortunately did not get a ball picker until a few months ago. What an improvement in the game! This ball picker is good. It works well, and it's lightweight. It's much like the golfball picker that I have, but built a bit lighter. (B.T.W. - the golf ball picker also works for table tennis balls). So why then am I giving this table tennis ball picker only four stars? The ball picker comes disassembled in a bag with a bunch of parts. There are no instructions how to put it together and there is no list of parts that should be in the bag. There is not even a picture of the assembled unit (though that is available on the Amazon website). After finishing the assembly, I ended up with two extra sets of screws and cap-nuts. I've no idea where they were supposed to go, or if they are just spares. It is for this lack of directions that I'm taking away one star.In spite of my criticism, I do think that this is a good product. A ball picker should be included with every table tennis table and this is a reasonable one to have; it's the best thing since rubber-faced paddles.
