Very good once up, buttons that extend the poles are extremely hard to push in.

We returned our tent last year because it was tight for our family and really hot too. We replaced it with this. We loved how spacious it is with a lot of window for circulation and decided to keep it. Finally, we were able to use it this summer, twice. My husband who is 5’11 tall can stand and walk with no problem from wall to wall. We were able to fit 2 queen-sized air mattress and can fit 1 single mattress too if needed with still a lot of space left for our things. Finally the best thing is even one person alone can set it up in just a few minutes. Added point is that it is really pretty. I won’t hesitate to buy it again.

We really like the size of this tent. For two adults and two 50-60 lb dogs, we all had plenty of space with room to spare. The best part about the tent to me is the set up and tear down. This company could not have made it more simple. No poles to put together or slide thru loops. It’s amazing. Love all the windows for good air flow and being able to see the stars in summer camping without the tarp on top. We’re really happy with this tent and hope it lasts a long time.

I like the tent design but not sure about the quality, I was disappointed when I first received. I think I received the used tent even I was purchasing the brand new tent.

I just did a three week camping fishing trip in this tent. And it performed wonderfully. Firstly, it's easy to setup and take down. It's a four extending pole construction, which is the key to ease of setup. Some other tents this size use six poles, which I've tried. Six is more difficult to setup solo. Four is the right number to setup solo easily. I setup in the wind, this trip too, and had no issues at all. Second thing that impressed me, is the zippers. Windows and door, all the zippers open and close easily. Clean one handed open and close. And the door has two zippers that meet at the center of the door. This is important for keeping the rain out. Tents with door zippers that meet at the bottom, they leak during rain storms. I had two big rain and thunder storms, with high winds, on this trip. And the Portal 8 Instant performed admirable. Minimal leaks, mostly around the corners. I put a hand towel down in each corner, which handled the water easily. Considering the heavy rain, this tent is pretty rain proof. Roomy 12' by 10' space enough for a queen size air mattress, chair, four tables, big cooler. Easy power hookup port, which really is rain proof with a velcro closure. I highly recommend this tent.

I really like this tent, it’s very easy to set up taking maybe 10 minutes or less to set up (meaning everything, had the stakes in the ground and rain fly on + it being set up within those minutes). It is very spacious inside, but not really for 8 people as it’s advertised, 8 people would be a tight squeeze in my opinion. But for yourself or like up to 6 people depending on their body size would be comfortable. I’m just a 5ft girl who wanted it for herself because I like having a lot of space in my tent for air flow / a place to stand to get changed. Which speaking of, the tent itself is roughly 6ft tall, so if you are under 6ft like I am this tent will be difficult for you to set up alone or with other short people. I was fortunate enough to have taller friends with me to help me set it up, however I unfortunately would not be able to do it alone unless having a stepping stool but even then its difficult to reach the middle of the tent at the top after extending its legs to pop it up. So yes its big and spacious but be mindful you will need help if you are short.Other things I liked about it were how many windows it offers, the air circulation was amazing I took it for a 5 day camping trip during a blazing hot summer week and I felt relatively comfortable in the tent with the windows open and a mini fan on + nice being able to look out from any angle so that would be good for people with children. The colors of the tent itself are also nice, pretty unique actually I’ve never seen a tri colored tent like this so I do like it sorta sticking out making it easy to see in a sea of tents. The weight of it when rolled into the bag is slightly on the heavy side, but I’m able to carry it by myself. I recommend wearing it like a backpack if you have to walk far, my friend showed me that trick it was really smart actually. & It does take up a lot of space though in my trunk or my back seat (I’m in a Corolla for reference), but it fits.Lastly I was pleasantly surprised by the price, for this tent being just under $200 but offering so much I was impressed. It’s a good affordable tent, I just hope it lasts long and does good in other weather as I haven’t tested it in the rain yet.TLDR;10 min or less set up with 2 peopleLots of space & windows insideUnique tent color with a good price

I've had lots of tents and this is the prettiest and most comfortable tent. It is roomy and well ventilated. It did of course take longer than 60 seconds to put up but that is to be expected especially the first time. I got help putting it up and getting the rainfall onWhen you step inside it is a warm cozy feeling. the colors are beautiful when the sunlight glows through the tent and rainfly. It has walls that almost stand straight up because it is a cabin tent and it doesn't feel like the walls are closing in on you like some dome tents do. There is very little to no condensation and the tent is tall giving you plenty of headroom. I would definitely buy it again. I've had many different kinds of tents from pop up tents, hub tents dome tents. This is a wonderful cabin tent. I recommend help putting it up if you need it because the tent is tall and you may need help with the rainflyI haven't tested it in the wind but I have in a couple of rainstorms and it held up well an we were completely dry.
