I recently purchased a converter kit (also from Amazon) to replace two recessed can lights with beautiful flush mounts. However, the canopy on the new flush mounts wasn’t large enough to cover the hole in the ceiling once the can hardware was removed. These little guys came to the rescue and are a perfect fit to hide the holes left behind. The converter kit came with a basic white surround, but these are the exact same bronze color as the canopies on my lights. The electrician who installed everything said they were super easy to work with and fit the canopies like a glove. Very pleased and would definitely recommend if you have a similar project.

What’s there to say about a ceiling medallion? It’s dark brown, almost black… That said, it does match nicely with my “antique bronze“ light fixture. It’s not an exact color match, but we like it. It covers the larger drywall hole that our contractors left behind. You will have to disconnect the electrical to your light to install it, of course. However, it was easy to install. Very happy with this purchase!

I needed a medallion to extend the canopy above a pendant light and used this. The plastic is thick and sturdy and did the job. The canopy fit inside the inner donut hole perfectly. The color is a dark or blackish brown. My lamp canopy was oil rubbed bronze and this medallion almost looked black by comparison. I considered painting it but was worried about paint peeling off the plastic so I didn't. I was pleased that it wasn't expensive or large.

Works perfectly when replacing fixtures and the hole in the ceiling is larger than the new light/fan canopy. Sturdy, matte black color, and simple design. Easy to install, but we had to purchase longer set screws to hold the fan in place, no big deal!

Great product, but NOT bronze, it's a dark brown. We mounted these over the kitchen sink, and it is unlikely anyone will stand under the light and shine a flash to see the difference as I did for the photo, but I REALLY wanted something to match all the other bronze fixtures in the house. Oh well...

We purchased this after our superintendent installed a new ceiling fan in the kitchen. It wasn't until he was finished that we noticed we could see a hole in the ceiling. Rather than take the fan down, we cut the medallion on one side allowing us to open the circle and slide it around the wires. We added an adhesive to secure it into place and you cannot see the cut. This medallion is lightweight resin but very sturdy and not flimsy. It has a nice oiled bronze finish that does not look like resin. Highly recommend.

These look amazing! I put new lights up in my bathroom, but the holes from the old lights were larger than the new ones so I bought these and they matched perfectly and fit perfectly! Love them!

I needed this medallion to cover an oversized electrical box when I changed light fixtures in a hallway area. This did the trick in covering an unsightly hole around the new light fixture while matching the light fixture as well! Most medallions have to be painted or are so big they take away from the light fixture but this one is the perfect size and color.
