Everything looks as described, but of the 4 sippers I was supposed to receive, only two came in the box. I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of my order to show up.

Dear Customer Service,First of all, I was REALLY IMPRESSED w/the CARE GIVEN TO SHIPPING SUCH FRAGILE PIECES---I don't think the pieces would break if they fell 20ft off the top of the tallest UPS truck---THANK YOU! I gave your decanter --Oenophilia Porto Decanter Set--as a belated wedding gift to one of my favorite doctors & her new husband. If you could have seen the smile on her face, OMG! She unwrapped it immediately and RAVED about it's "unique and exquisite beauty" and the ''craftsmanship" of the hand-blown glass! She displayed it on her office desk & when her nurse walked in, it IMMEDIATELY CAUGHT HER ATTENTION, followed by "OH MY GOD, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT! HOW BEAUTIFUL!" exclamations. Within moments, her office was filled with admiring colleagues.I could not be more pleased with this purchase & it's priced to move--I would HIGHLY recommend this product and am thinking of purchasing a set for myself. OUTSTANDING, SIMPLY OUTSTANDING! I will be leaving this review, verbatim on Amazon w/ a 5-star rating!

I got this as a gift for my friend, and she loves it. The glass is thinner so it is a somewhat delicate-looking piece, but that is part of its charm. The glasses are much smaller than they look in the picture, but we thought they were a great size and we love how they hang on decanter itself. This is a very unique and classy-looking piece, along with the sippers. It all came very well packaged, wrapped in bubble wrap inside of a decent styrofoam encasing, so everything arrived in perfect shape for us. I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants a great conversational piece and who enjoys unique items. While they require care to use, they are definitely worth it.

The walls are very thin and delicate. Some of the glasses had small scratches on the outside. The overall shape of the glasses is not at all what is shown in the picture. The feet are angled forward in the picture, but they are actually vertical making the glasses less stable. The bends on the stem in the picture are a very nice wide S-shape, but the glasses I received basically bend straight up then out, no smooth transitions as in the picture. The bowl part of the glass is basically champagne style, having nearly the same width from top to bottom. Overall the glasses are still okay but as this was a gift I was hoping they'd be as dynamic as in the picture. The decanter is as pictured and also nervously delicate.

Yes, these are made of thin glass; heavy glass is not elegant. These are hand blown so each item will vary in size a shape slightly. HANDLE WITH CARE when washing; especially if you have a granite sink. (I place a towel over the sink edge for added safety when washing.) I saw this set in person at a winery so the size was no surprise. Yes, the glasses are small but they hold an appropriate serving. These are perfect for port or any after dinner drink. Sipping through the "tail" gives you just enough to coat your tongue so you get to savor your drink without guzzling a lot of alcohol. The set is packed in custom fitting styrofoam in a nicely designed box. Ours was then bubble wrapped and placed in a shipping box with packing peanuts. It arrived safely.

There are many nice glasses out there for port but these seemed novel. I saw them on another website so when this set came up on amazon, the price was too good to pass up. I paid the same or less for the set as the glasses alone on other websites and with amazon prime, s/h was free (go amazon!). They arrived quickly and extremely well packed and intact. It took a while and a pair of scissors to get all the packing off. Other reviewers have talked about the glasses arriving broken. This was not my experience. The glasses are delicate and small but nothing I didn't expect. I like delicate glassware when I'm drinking. I was expecting teeny glasses based on other reviews. They are small but fine for the purpose and most of us don't chug port anyway unless you're at a frat house but then you chug anything. They look like the picture and the idea is that you sip the port through the straw part that looks like a handle. This allows you to taste the port from the bottom without it being exposed to air which can alter the taste of the port.... but you all probably knew that, right? The glasses hang on the decanter which is pretty sturdy as it has a wide base. I don't know how sturdy the glasses will be once filled and standing alone. Are these the best glasses for port? I don't know but the set is very nice, the price right and the glasses certainly make for good conversation while sipping a nice 20 year old tawny port. I think it makes a lovely gift which is why I bought it. I like it enough that I am thinking of ordering another set for myself. I will try to post again when the set actually is used.11/27/13 update: The set was a big hit. When the glasses were filled with port, they stood on the table well. No tipping over. The decanter looked lovely filled. The straw part of the glass felt right in the mouth. Definitely a conversation piece and a great gift.

Terrible! Ordered this as a wedding gift. The Decanter looks like a chemistry beaker with pegs on it and the glass is so thin I was afraid it would break before we even got it to them. And the glasses are a neat concept, but are only slightly bigger than shot glasses. TOTAL waste of money! Had to go buy something else last minuet. Save your money and buy something else
