Story Behind Our Postcard Keeper
It all started with us traveling the world, and the tradition of sending home a postcard from each destination. We wrote our dreams and hopes, and breathtaking views we saw during the trip. Our friends got to know our tradition, so wherever anyone goes, they would send us a postcard. Over the year, we collected tons of postcards but a lot of them sit in the drawer or glued to the wall to collect dust.
We created Postcard Keeper Kit to help you transform those cherished postcards all over the world into a forever book, so it is ready for you to flip through at any time. It helps preserve all the sweet memories from traveling.
Thoughtfully Designed in USA
Our card keeper kit is proudly designed by Pacific Northwest artists. Both cover and suede string are carefully selected vegan leather material.
Elegant Stitching Details
Both front and back covers are beautifully stitched around all edges to add a different texture to the look and illustrate the delicacy of the design.
Two Classic Colors
Our card keeper collection is comprised of two handed-picked colors. Each variation has different word engravings that are modern and minimal.
Classic Engraving
The brown version uses the traditional engraving technics that's clean and classic.
Gold Engraving
The black version uses the gold engraving which is modern and mysterious.
Strong Suede String
Each kit includes a 5mm thick and 1 yard long string, strong enough to holds hundreds of postcards!

**Edited: knocked it down a star since I never heard back from the sellerI ordered this kit. The leather covers look great and meets my expectation! However, I did not get the instructions or the hole punch that is supposed to be included. The instructions are probably pretty straight forward so I’m not too concerned about that missing from my order, but the hole punch is a big part of it being a kit. If I don’t receive the hole punch then I’ll have to go out and buy a hole punch, which isn’t a huge deal but I did technically pay for it to be included in this kit. I messaged the seller and haven’t heard back yet. Once I do, I will update my review.

I always look at what other people say on reviews to see if I can confirm / deny what other people are saying, so I was super surprised to have seen someone else do the same thing that I did -- ditch the aesthetically pleasing leather ties for more practical 2" binder rings. I also think the hole puncher is meh for trying to line up, but I just decided, to keep it even, to mark it, and then go as far into the postcard for the punch as possible so they're all even. Yes, punching holes in them isn't ideal, but they were just going to sit in a bix somewhere anyway. Mounting them on something else isn't really feasible because I want to see both sides of the card, so I think this is great to keep everything together. May even add some printed photos in, too, since I don't have a lot of postcards to fill this out yet.

This is such a cool idea! I always buy postcards on my trips, but they have been living in a shoe box and I never look at them. This set helps turn them into their own book. It comes with two covers, a single hole punch, and a suede string to tie everything together. The covers are high quality vegan leather and the front is embossed with gold foil. There is a single sheet instruction card, which is pretty straight forward. It can be a little bit tricky to get the hole placement just right (you need to align the covers and trace the holes before punching), so I do recommend practicing on the instruction card before punching your own post cards as the instructions suggest. The minimalist design looks great on my coffee table and I’m so excited to finally have my post card collection more accessible to remember all of my trips. This would make a great gift for travel lovers!

The idea of this is a good one, and I do have a pile of souvenir postcards from my travels that I would like to display. This kit comes with two very nice vegan leather covers; the front cover is debossed with "Hello World". The idea is to punch holes in your postcards to match the pre-drilled holes in the covers, and then bind them all together with the suede string that's included. There's even a cute little hole punch. However, I don't want to punch holes in my postcards. So, I'll mount them on card stock with enough of a border so that I can punch holes in the card stock only. The covers measure 5.5" x 7.5". Postcards are typically 4.25" x 6", so that would work. (See photo) Not what I was expecting to have to do, but not an enormous project to do to make it work.

This is a beautiful postcard album and a great idea to hold them all. I’m on PostCrossing, so I needed something, besides a box, to store over 200 postcards. I haven’t put them all in the album yet, but above is 1 done correctly. When I read the description of the item, it was hard to understand. Hopefully, the pic helps to clear things up. You punch holes in the postcard, position the front and back covers and thread through the included string. Very nice! The covers are of great quality and the string is suede like. It comes with instructions and a 1 hole puncher. It would have been nice to have a two hole punch, that fit the string holes, so there wouldn’t be a need trace the holes, then punch. It’s not a big problem, the 1 hole punch is good enough. I can’t wait until I have all of the postcards in the album and on display.

I am totally in love with this postcard book! It's not only super eco-friendly, but the design is just beautiful. The vegan leather cover feels so soft and luxurious, just like real leather.The size of the book is perfect for carrying around in a backpack or purse. It's an excellent purchase for myself and as a thoughtful gift for my friend. Highly recommend!!!
