Purchased as a bulk supply of Potassium Iodide in response to the early 2022 military situation in Eastern Europe. I hope that I never have to use this product because it was purchased as a bulk supply of food-grade potassium iodide (which is the active ingredient in anti-radiation meds). Also purchased a high accuracy lab scale for dividing into doses accurately. Also purchased an adequate supply of legitimate anti-radiation meds (again, this is simply a last-ditch backup that a Scientist like myself would be comfortable using in a life or death, Marshal-Law, SHTF, every man for himself type of apocalyptic scenario… in case my supply of legitimate medication is unavailable or insufficient for those that need it).

No, I'm not making HI or any other schedule 1 precursor.Just getting prepared and now I have some dry, pure elemental Iodine.This is a good product.The 'crystal powder' in the description is not accurate (this is a complement, wait for it)It's not powder. It's exceptional, large crystals of good purity. Tested via melting point and column chromatography. Purity was greater than 99%Meh. But what do I know about chemistry.
