UPDATED REVIEWThe seller reached out to me and sent a replacement and it arrived intact, clean, and without issue. I have made three pots of coffee with it and I love it. I like having the extra carafe from my broken set on hand to put the dripping funnel on once the coffee has brewed, but you can easily put it on a coffee mug.The filters that come with the set work well and I have not had any grounds in my coffee. All of the pieces are easy to hand wash (I use a baby bottle brush for cleaning the carafe) and I really love the glass stopper that you can cover the pot with but still be able to pour out your coffee.The funnel could use more padding in the product box, but the seller did say in their message to me that they were working on updating that after seeing the issues. They were very prompt and courteous with their customer service and I would absolutely buy from them in the future with my own money.Original review (2 stars):The carafe is beautiful and I will use it for tea as it is still functional, but aside from a thin layer of bubble wrap there was no padding provided for the glass overpour top and unsurprisingly it arrived shattered. This is an item that should be padded with foam and I anticipate lots of others having the same experience that I did. I really like the carafe, it is thick and sturdy and looks great, I wish I could report on the top part's ability to make coffee.

This pour-over coffee maker set includes a glass dripper with a relatively large hole and a bottom glass pot, along with 100 coffee filters. The pour-over hole is noticeably larger compared to others that I own, which affects the flow rate—something to keep in mind if you prefer a slower brew.The glass pot is a nice addition but not entirely necessary, as it only holds about two small mugs of coffee (9-10 oz cups) or roughly 1.5 cups for larger mugs (I own 16 oz mugs). I find it easier to brew directly into a cup rather than using the pot, one less thing to wash.Overall, it's a decent set, and I’ll keep it, but the large hole might not be ideal for those who prefer a more controlled brewing process. I dock one star for the price and large hole. If you like a faster drip or don’t mind adjusting your grind size accordingly, it could work well.

I make myself a pourover every day, twice a day, and I thought it'd be nice to get a better setup. Here's everything:I don't know how much water to pour as my other setup has a receptacle that tops the funnel. I guess on how much water I need to make one cup. Obviously I can see the amount as the carafe fills, but that doesn't help measurement in the beginning. I love the design of the carafe. The big bulky wooden part seems unnecessary, seems like it could have been smaller. The filters worked and haven't broken during use. I don't get why the opening is so large, though - I'm not a pro, but I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to just dump water over the grounds. Regardless, my coffee hasn't come out weak. The cap is nice but I haven't used it - I make the coffee, and I drink it. Overall, this has more steps than my usual coffee process. I'm going to keep it around because I like the carafe so much, and it will be handy if someone else wants to drink coffee with me :)

This pour-over set is nice because it the dripper section fits nicely on the carafe section, and the carafe section has markings so you can see how much coffee you have. The downside of the set is the the opening on the dripper section is pretty big, so the coffee pours through faster. This can affect the quality of the finished coffee. If the drip rate is important to you, then keep this in mind.

This coffee maker is attractive, works great, is very easy to clean, and I think it would make a lovely gift to a young adult moving into their first apartment.The glass pour-over coffee maker is quicker to brew than my older stainless steel mesh one. I attribute the difference to the open bottom design and spiraling channels along the sides. The open bottom makes having a good quality filter essential. (This is why I am keeping my old coffee maker as a backup!)I didn't think I needed the included carafe, but after using it a few times, I prefer it to brewing directly into my mug. It makes brewing additional batches or enough for two people easier, and it pours beautifully.It is a lovely addition to my kitchen and takes up less space than a traditional coffee maker.

I ordered this because I sometimes want to make coffee for my dh and I don't know how to use other coffee makers. He marked on the filter where I was supposed to fill the coffee grounds to. It works fine and easy for a non coffee drinker to figure out. I like that it's glass instead of plastic and I like that there are a large quantity of eco friendly filters included. Would recommend.
