Powell-Peralta graphic griptape is manufactured by Skate One in Santa Barbara California USA. This might be the best looking graphic griptape on the market. Classic Powell-Peralta graphic on silicon carbide grit.

Thought this was just pre cut grip tape but didn’t read it close enough. So for all you other lazy readers like me, be warned. This is a full sheet with the logo and even super imposed rivets for where the underneath rails go. (I did do that with one of my boards to keep the rails from falling off), but it ultimately feels kinda poser.

Nice and grippy. Used it on my old school repressing. Easy to apply. Nice and wide. No need to create custom application. Fits all in one piece.

Put this grip on an Andy Anderson board and most people think I am on an old school board until they see me flick it.

Wanted to replace my old grip tape on my early Mike Valley deck. I didn’t realize that the red Powell Peralta was part of the grip, but I cut it out and it fit my old deck great! I’m not sure, but I think that this is designed to fit a Steve Steadham deck. It has actual graphics of where the old style Rib Bones screwed into the rat nuts that where made much better than the newer ones. Luckily I have a pair of white “older style” rails that requires them to be screwed through the deck.I honestly don’t know why Powell Peralta stopped making the wider and taller rails like they made in the 80s. They lasted much longer and they didn’t break or wear out like the newer ones do. I know a lot of street skaters as well as ramp skaters don’t even use these anymore. Boards have become disposable like everything else, but I prefer the older model of their rails to the newer screw in type.
