Bad Rca jacks , was busted out of the box. It took a while to figure it out as it kept moving around. Rewired the entire system twice. Replaced the cables. Replaced the head unit. Upgraded the wire gauge. Added electric sound processor. Replaced & upgraded the tweeters and rediaphramed the horn. Added ground loop isolator. Was running sound zone troubleshooting sftwr and discovered the issue after all the drama and $$$, and headaches for the Rca . the amp was new so I didn't think about that being the problem!!! And its after warranty!!! Darn!¡¡

it works, this module has no extras vs 80hz crossover hi/lo= and doesn't seem to perform differently when presented with an active crossover on full .. its power rating on the box was 190rms x4 4homs but the listed amazon of 160 is a fail-safe. and with minor clipping (1-2% you could get 190rms) - but all and all will power your mid/tweets good with much headroom to blow your ear-drums, powering subs on bridging heats it up a bit (but i have not ben-able to max its power "250rms subs x2 at 4homs") (have a FLIR - never seen it go above 140 - at 90'+ items outside - I recommend cooling even still)update i have been able now to run at max RMS (500x2) and ... it suffers a bit- ( clips earlier than where 1 sub and some mids would) I don't think it reaches 1000wats rms but close (2 infinity Kapps 12ich) the max temp I seen it still sits at 150ish never passes it -with active cooling (never tried without cooling- but did not take the chance of destroying item) still worth every penny 2x subwoofer at 470wats-rms louder than 1sub at 500sound quality (its very good- but not what I was or thought I liked) it was a change for me - I was using a 1000wat pioneer amp and was not impressed at 1st - but over trying a 3ed amp - and a friend explained that the old pioneer has a built-in EQ that is more mid-bass, = to fix this he simply gave me an old epicenter bass -inline RCA" and it fixed the issue =sounded good - far better than under-powering using a U445 alpine- but was 2x size almost?I also like the speaker terminals because wire harnesses SUCK!safety bumpers come off -what did I not likesafety bumper block access to speaker terminal (i fixed with a power drill and driver)the top speaker terminals block modifications of bottom terminals (you have to take out Rear channel's before you can change the Front channels )the Gain is very sensitive and when they say 6v max they mean 5.1v RCA( hi-level inputs can go around /fix this "aka cut your RCA-cables -no thanks)power consumptionIt's power-hungry at high volume - lower-ended volume it won't kill your battery, but this is a 1k RMS amp even class D needs a good alternator ...100 $ buy = well worth it

I waited a few months before making my review. I am by no means an audiophile or expert. I just like my highs and mids to be fairly clear for certain songs that I play (if that makes any sense). So far it hasn't shut off on me and been working good, from what I read with a few reviews. There are pros and cons to this amp, however I have no complaints and I'll use it till it goes out probably upgrade to a better one.Positives - I love the size of this thing. It's small and has sufficient power to push your coax/component speakers. If you're a casual listener like I am, this is a great buy to save on cost and space. I have it paired up to some ID components 6.5" and pioneer 6.5" coax mids with the gain turned half way. No overheating and shut off since installed. I don't turn up the volume on my radio much, but on occasion I do when there's a song that I really like. I drive about 30-45mins daily with the radio about turned up a little pass 1/4 of the ways and get more then enough sound from them.Negatives - The noise distortion that I've read regarding the FM transmission is true. Ever since I installed this amp, most, if not all of my FM radio station are very distorted. I can barely hear a good song without it cutting off every 5-10secs. This is due to the amp being a class D (supposedly) or maybe just cheaper components used, who knows! Have yet to try other more well known manufacturer so I can not compare. This is irritating so to remedy this, I just stream music with my bluetooth/iphone and not even listen to the radio stations. The installation of the speaker terminal are a bit tedious. You need to install the bottom wire into the terminals before you can install the top wires. If you don't it'll be tough to tighten the set screws to the bottom speaker terminals. And last, why would PA not use "Allen head set screws" instead of using phillips set screws? It's easier to strip the phillips head vs the allen head. I believe a few of mine are basically at the verge of being stripped. I'll have to replace them with some allen head set screws next time I decide to remove this amp.Over all, I'd purchase this amp again, ONLY if it was on sale. I would not purchase at full price. I do miss my radio stations from time to time. Will update if I can think of anything else.06/2021 - Channels 1 & 2 gave out and also took my component speakers with it as well. Had to replace the amp and component speakers.

I installed the amp together with a kenwood marinne head unit and 2 polk audio speakers in my 2012 Street Glide. Sounded great for a few rides but today just quit. No warning. I took fairing off and when it goes to power up the protection lamp blinks on and then off.....no sound.Looking for warranty now! Arghhhh!!

Almost a year now using this amp have not had any complaints. Does get a little warm during extended use but i have it pushing 4 6.5"s, 2 3.5"tweeters and 2 1" tweeters. Have it running 1/3 power on front and half on rear. Recommend for space/weight saving. Also have Gothic 4500 watt mono amp that is amazing but needs extra batt to keep alt/batt healthy and is slight heavy at approx 20 lbs. This amp weighs about 5-10

GREAT amp - used on 2013 Harley Street Glide . sits on top of the radio in the fairing. This is basically the same amp as the SoundStream PN4.520, but several buddies including me find this amp a bit cleaner / louder. Specs are NOT what the say. even 100 at 4 ohm / 130 at 2 ohm is a bit overrated. I bench tested the amp along with others (- 20 to 30% power on 14V). running 4 speakers and bike ROCKS!!!! cannot beat the price.... BE AWARE: you most likely will lose FM stations (some if not all) due to Class D. this applies for Bikes, not car!
