This looks exactly like the original. Not much to it just metal points and plates to make contact and a wire connector to hook it up.

The connector for my sliding door went out causing the “Door open” alert to stay on all the time. The parts department at the MBZ dealership wanted to charge me over $100 for a replacement sensor. This one is half that… And it works. I was able to replace it myself thanks to the thousands of tutorials on Youtube from Europe, where the Metris (called the Vito in Europe) is the biggest selling van. I go to the dealer when I have to, but if I can get away with doing to myself, I do.
