This steering gearbox was supposed to fit my truck and did not. I'm just past my return by 5 days and stuck with a POS that does not fit. Steer clear of this item.

Well I got the steering Gear for a 2008 Cummins. Put the gear up in place and loosely installed the bolts so that I could get the steering column, hoses, ECT...installed, and went to tighten the frame bolts and find out the threaded holes in the gear itself are too big and therefore wasn't able to tighten. Dont buy parts from this seller or any crap C.C.P. reman junk EVER. 3 hours of a wasted time with the install and then removing.

Box is OK. There is still a little bit of play inside the box IMO. I did have to replace the mounting bolts on my truck with the older style bolts and shorten them a bit with a cut off wheel and grinder to clear the vein on the bottom of the gearbox. Also be sure to check your lines. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4.So far so good.

Fit ok had to do some changes the shipping was poor box had been drooped and opened and was missing some small parts and messed with the clocking of the shaft , mfg needs to put it in a better box before shipping. but was able to use it works fine , probably would have sent it back due to shipping but needed the pars asap
