Power Stop K2009-36,Z36 Truck & Tow Front Brake Kit- Drilled/Slotted Rotors & Carbon Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads for my 1999 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton ext cab 4x4.YES, I followed the break-in procedure!Overall these brakes were an improvement in stopping power, but make a HORRIBLE noise when light braking to a gradual stop. I reached out directly to Power Stop and they told me to yet again perform a break-in procedure, or that I was not braking aggressively enough - huh?The howl returns, despite lightly deglazing the surface of these pads on sandpaper, and repeating thebreak-in procedure.I'm quite dissatisfied with the poor support received from Power Stop.

I went to pep boys and was lied to. They told me that I needed brakes and rotors. The price was almost $700 to replace. I watch some videos on YouTube and decided to do the job and save more then $500. I ordered the parts and they came on time. Everything was there and everything looked perfect. Turns out I didn't need to replace anything because nothing was wrong. The breaks and rotors have plenty life left on them.

Install was very straightforward. Directions for testing afterward as well as the actual installation were very clear. The stopping power on my suburban is quick and responsive now compared to sluggish and spongy previously.

The performance is BETTER than the stock factory brakes! Fit perfectly. Well worth paying a reasonable amount more for the upgrade. I can trust my brakes again to get the job done. There is a specific break in process that is necessary to follow after installation to assure 100% efficiency but is not that hard to follow. I plan on putting these on all my vehicles!

I just installed these on my 2001 suburban work truck. I wish I would of installed these the first time. Braking power is so much better than OEM. My last set was a cheaper brand of drilled and slotted rotors and they lasted me 4 years which I was very surprised since I pull a heavy trailer every day. But these here feel even better. I also installed a full set of pads rotors and calipers on my 2015 Z71. And I am very impressed with those. They were night and day difference from the original set. I will buy these in the future and recommend to friends.

So I bought both front and rear kits for my 03 Tahoe, installed the rear flawlessly. Apon trying to install the front I realize that the pads that were sent were the same as the rear and I am unable to complete the installation.Is there any way to get the correct part number or veichle reference for the front pads please. ( 2003 Chevy Tahoe LT Autoride) Can’t seem to find it because the number on the box looks to be correct but the pads are wrong.I’m be be out of country working and have passed the return date. Don’t want to waste anymore time wait for online purchases.

So far these brakes have been a huge improvement. I followed the proper break in procedure and the pads seem to have bedded properly. They have far better stopping power than the brakes that were on it. We will see how they lay bit so far I’m impressed.
