This is a very, very basic surge protector.Does it work? Sure.But can definitely find better, especially looking at the listing to see where it's priced. The surge protector outlet orientation with the grounding pin facing the short edge means that power blocks will take up multiple outlet spaces - you can even see in one of the photos in the listing a phone power block that takes up two outlet positions in their example photo! The plug into the wall is bulky and not like a modern flat plug, limiting the types of spaces this might be used in. A quick Amazon search finds other products with more modern plug and outlet orientations at the same relative price, some of the other products even have added bonuses like USB charging ports directly on the plug strips.Honestly, if I hadn't gotten this product provided to me as an evaluation unit I'd not have purchased it.

works fabulous, this has a 6 foot cord to plug in and that makes it convenient for use on items with smaller cords
