I use this to make a fuel line from my fuel pump to my carburetor on my classic car. It worked great for bending the 1/4” and 5/16” lines. The 3/8” line is hard to bend with the short length of the handles. I would get a tool with longer handles if I were bending 3/8” fuel line.

The press-fit "bolts" separated as soon as I pulled the unit out of the box. I replaced them both with better hardware, and then the mouth of the bender bent open on basic mild 5/16 steel tube.

Bent 3/16 and 5/16 OD NiCopp tubing for brake and fuel lines with ease. No kinks whatsoever with 3/16, which was good since the brakes are safety critical. 5/16 left a slight crush bend, which may matter if you are fabricating fuel supply lines (mine were vapor). Line up the beginning of the bend with the "O", marking the tubing with sharpie, and you should be able to replicate the lines without issue.
