Easy to install but difficult to remove old anode rod (original - has been in place for nearly 10 years) unless you have a high torque impact wrench. Very well packaged and once installed, removed the sulfur smell from my hot water within a matter of hours. Highly recommend!

Good instructions. Error on size of nut in instructions. Says you can use own end wrench. Use 6 point socket and impact wrench for easy removal of old rod.

really though, time will tell if quality holds up, with warranty past a few years.. at least better than the standard anodes that come with hot water tank.

Looks like a quality product, package very well. Installed easily, directions are easy to read. Unfortunately the green light on the power supply that is supposed to tell you it is functioning properly does not illuminate. The multi-meter tells me the anode is getting power, so the connections are all good. So is the anode doing its job or not? Still no word from customer service to address the light, but all good since the light eventually came on. Appears to be operating. The wrench that was supplied came in handy since the 1 1/16 socket I used to remove the old anode could not be used to install this new anode. Also developed a leak. Used different Teflon tape and cranked it down with the wrench. We'll see if it keeps leaking, it will go back. Second item I received from China that had leaking/poor metal threads.

This product is a complete SCAM.I left three messages for the company and never heard back from them. I Should have every cent refunded! Don't make the mistake I did and buy this worthless product.

Although I haven't installed the powered probe yet, it appears as a quality made product. If it turns on after installation, I will likely be 100% satisfied. I will update my review after the installation. Also, the shipping was fast as lightning.This is an update after installation.The probe is installed according to the installation guide. It's on and working perfectly. There are three issues I encountered.1. I used a 2 ft extension to loosen the original probe. I had to apply so much force,that I was concerned I would brake the fitting. But finally it loosend.2. The originall probe was so long, I had to cut it twice to get it out of the tank. It was solid aluminum.3. The instructions say to apply 7 layers of Teflon tape. That's way to much. There is no way to tighten the new probe with such a thick layer of Teflon tape. I had to unwind half of the tape in order to be able to tighten the new probe. I had to use the 2ft extension to be able to tighten it. The wrench included with the kit is useless.The whole installation took about an hour. The probe is working perfectly.The manufacturer guarantees the unit for 20 years.It looks very well made.I am very satisfied.
