This item did not disappoint. Everything works well.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do, and has buttons to turn ports on/off as needed.

Usb ports started to go bad 6 months in and is unusable one year later.

This helped clean up my desk. I’m currently using 11 of the ports, providing power to external drives, lighte, a printer and more. It is surprisingly small and fit easily into a small space.

If you’re looking to make a Plex Server, I recommend this product for how much power you can get out of it. Feels a bit overkill but worth it just to never worry about power issues. Don’t cheap out and buy one of the lower watt versions on Amazon, you will have hard drive dropouts. My Dad has been using this for his server for a few weeks now and it works great with 7 hard drives connected. Also love how the drives auto sleep if not being used.- Will edit this review if we run into any issues.

Works great for charging and data transfer. By far the best I ever had.

I purchased something similar two years ago and ran out of port since some of the new devices require the C type connector for phones and hard drives. So, did a little research, and purchased this. Great choice. Its been working for a few months with no issues. I would highly recommend it.

for people that owns pc and uses it for personal use or Gamming i see this is awesome resource to get for I only have 2 3.0 usb ports and 2 2.0 ports among with my pc modified with 4 HDMIS for multiple screens , this item is very helpful i have one using for mainly usb wireless pc accessories along with 5 2.0 TB external Hard drives and I also have an 10 port hub for my racing wheels and accessories total of 16 of the 27 ports between the 2 strips is being used and its very fast in pc recognizing it

Sturdy metal case, ports are individually switchable on/off by small pushbuttons. I wanted the switching feature so that all the ports didn't have to be live at the time. The various ports dedicated to charging duties are also a very handy feature.

I’m on the fence about the buttons that turn off individual connections. I’m not sure why.

I chose this hub because it has everything I need:• 16 ports, including USB 3, USB C, and charging ports, quick charging ports;• labels (oddly, the other brands with the same design and features tend to not have labels);• on/off switch for each port (press once for on and hold for off);powered by powered adapter; and• small size.Hopefully, it functions for a long time.

UPDATE: They sent me a new model. I've been running it about 1 month so far and have not had any issues with it. If it can continue to perform at this rate for another 2 or 3 months I will change my rating to 5.Initially, this worked great, but then noticed several issues. Video cameras suddenly would lag horribly, my headphones would lose sound. It was great that I could power off the port and re-initialize it, but that was a temporary fix. A few moments later the problem would return. It's getting to the point where I have more things plugged directly into my computer than I did the hub--which kind of negates the point of having the hub.So 2 stars for performance.

I love the fact that it has 16 ports. purchased to upgrade from an anker "10-port" which is really a 7 port that has 3 dedicated charging ports.. I also like the fact that it has per-port power buttons/switches.Sadly, in just under 6 months, several (at least half) of the ports are beginning to be unresponsive. now my anker is back in service. to handle the 'overflow'. Yes, I'm a geek. 2 spindle drives. 3 pcie-sata SSDs; 2 usb to GBe NICS, and a couple smart-card readers. I loved it. -- until it started to fail.Contacting the Seller is a PITA. Contacted amazon via chat. they sent a link. The link allowed me to fill out a return request, but asked for more information.. clearly did not read my review, and asked for the same information in the review. -- no way to respond to them.
