These batteries are a good backup to keep in your bag. The last pretty well and the fact you can charge your batteries from a powerbank is very handy while out and about. Recommended.

I have only had this charger and batteries a few days. I have charged both batteries but only used one which is not yet flat so I can't rate the battery life, but it certainly fits in my Canon EOS 650 and works just like the original but at a fraction of the cost. As long as it lives up to expectation it will have been a very good buy. It seems to charge batteries faster than the Canon charger that I have.

First, both batteries charge in the charger unit supplied. My original battery also charges in the supplied charger.Second the two new batteries both charge in the charger that came with my camera.The battery life of both batteries seem to be good. Haven't been able to really test it out, but slide shows run for a very long time.I rated it below 5 stars because at the end of a charging session in the new charger, one of the two new batteries will indicate no charge on the display. Note that the battery seems to work, it just that the charge status is wrong. I chatted with Amazon and asked for one replacement battery, but the Amazon rep said they couldn't do that. They did knock $5 off of the price I paid. So in all, this product was a good value.

This is the second Powerextra charger and two batteries that I have bought. Earlier this year I bought one to use with the LP E6 batteries for my Canon 7D camera ( see my review for details ) The batteries I got with it have performed splendidly. So, I decided to get one for my other camera a Canon 700 D which has,like the 7D, a battery grip. I use the 7 D with a Sigma 18/200zoom and the 700D with a 35/80 macro so I don't need to change lenses whilst out doing my nature photography. So, I always like to carry extra batteries and getting two LP E8 batteries AND a nifty little charger for £15.99 is an absolute bargain! As I said in my previous review I don't need speedy charging while I'm out .I carry enough spare batteries with me and charge my flat ones at home. What I like about these little chargers is that they charge two batteries at once and turn off when they are done. The batteries last a decent time so all in all this bundle is one not to miss!
