My subframe bushings were in bad shape. I don’t have clunking or rear wheel steering issues but the 32 year old bushings needed to be replaced. The main advantage of poly is ease of installation. For the “beer can” bushings that have limited lateral movement and almost zero vertical movement, there is little performance advantage to these. I felt no discernible difference over various road surfaces, hard cornering, higher or lower speeds. As a performance improvement alone, I cannot recommend these. As a simple to install alternative to pressing in hard rubber bushings - highly recommended!
