Turn on the shot, good upgrade, a big difference on the original. 100% recommended, if you have headers over time the original suffers a lot from the heat they produce.

Working well on my C6 Z06 with a 12:1 compression LS7 with long tube headers. Never hesitates to start. I'll update if it dies

Had to clock it and trim the plastic shroud for the starter as that caused it to not line up right but this starter worked great. Starts much easier with this over OEM.

I installed this starter in a 2004 silverado 1500 4wd with a 6.0 engine. It's a tight fit in a 4wd. I had to reclock the starter to clear the crankshaft sensor, but it's easy to do. This starter is overkill for my truck but the price was right!

Had stock delco starter on a 91 corvette LS1 with headers. Solenoid would get hot and starter would not work. Put a Power Master starter in so far it works great.

I haven't installed the product yet, but can give 5 starts based off the service I received from Power master! I read thru instructions too quickly and misread the torque specs on the clocking ring, ended up bending the ring and stripping the hex heads. I contacted Power master and was honest about my mistake, they sent me a replacement Ring and screws, only asking me to pay shipping costs. Their support called and verified all my info and made it extremely easy, will definitely go back to these guys if I ever need another product they offer!

Strong cranking, and ZERO heat soak issues that Corvettes with headers are known to have. There is no plastic on these to fail like the OEM starters.Worth noting:1. On the OEM setup (on all GM V8 motors I believe), the wire that supplies power to activate the solenoid has a plastic connector. This connector must be cut off and replaced with a simple eyelet terminal.2. It bolts up just fine to a C6 Z06 (LS7 motor). Some people have said that the power wire needs to be extended slightly, but I don't believe that's necessary. The terminal on the end of the primary power cable is L-shaped. Since it's copper, I just flattened the terminal out using a pair of pliers, and the wire had enough length to reach the starter. This may not be necessary on other motors.
