Introducing the 5-Star 5/16 Threaded Knob Set by POWERTEC.
These screw on knobs were designed to help adjust and tighten your woodworking jigs, fixtures and t-track assemblies. They also serve as great replacement knobs for your existing bandsaws, drill presses, furniture installs and other equipment.
5-Star Design, Fit and Construction
• These black knobs possess a smart, ergonomic design that puts the control back in your hands. They feature a 5-star profile that allows you to handle them with comfort, while gives you optimal gripping action for maneuverability.
• Each knob flaunts a molded-in steel threaded insert that produces a smooth spun action and anti-stripping qualities. In addition, this premium construction helps prevent rust and corrosion over the life-span of the knobs. They work with material that is less or equal to 1 inch in thickness and/or most assemblies that accept the standard 5/16 bolt heads.
• Made with nylon, this material is known for it’s toughness (impact resistance), flexural strength and low friction properties – many of which are ideal for professional workshop environments and general purpose applications.

Required additional pieces for carpententry corner Jigs. So far they have stood up to the tensions required. Nice large knob and good casting smooth, no rough edges. Threads are good.

These knobs work great and fit 1/4" carriage bolt perfectly. Note that (in my experience at least), they do not fit a galvanized bolt. The galvanized bolt was just a little too big to allow these knobs to easily screw on. Worked well on zinc or stainless steel bolts just fine. The knobs are big enough that you can easily turn them and tighten them down by hand.
