The two ends of the metal crossbar are equipped with spring to make the lengh adjustable.

Thickened handle
The plastic handle is polished and big enough for easy opening and closing of the retractable cover.

No as nice as the original. Do NOT like the strap system for attaching the short flap and the cover was on the roller slightly off to one side. The material is good and it fits.

Advertising this as "privacy protection" is a bit of a stretch. There's about a 6 inch gap along the back of the vehicle, and about a 2 inch gap along the sides (both pictured). It really just keeps the honest people honest. The thing that I see this being useful for, and the reason I got it, is for sun protection for my cargo during a road trip.Pros: seems sturdy, gives the cargo space a good amount of sun protection (but keep in mind, it's not FULL protection).Cons: it's not very aesthetic. The mounting ends are an interesting velvet-feeling material, and the privacy shade that drapes between that and the back seat is just passable (see photo).I can't speak for the durability, as I've only had it for a day, but will update this review after our road trip.

This cover is awesome,it keeps people from looking into your trunk,it also will keep all your heavy belongings in the trunk just in case you get into a accident or a roll over and it keeps the sun off of your groceries,great product and price

Fits perfectly on my 2010 Forester. Hides the entire trunk and took 20 seconds to install. Good durability and price point. Highly recommend.
