Makes a solid connection with USB cables, but the little screws gave me a lot of hard time. First I couldn't quite figure out which way I should rotate it (clockwise/counterclockwise) then probably I picked the wrong direction the screw snapped something inside and won't hold the wire a small piece of plastic has fallen out. A bit annoying had to shove a piece of copper in there to keep the wire terminal inside.

This works great, I ran USB through the wall using 4-wire cable. I wired my Ring Alarm Wireless Keypad through the wall with the micro USB plug screw terminal and out the other end to the USB plug.

Great USB 2.0 male/female connectors with screw terminals to put your own wires into. I used it to trouble shoot pin out issues with an Apple charger.
