Good size. I bought for baking sour dough but it will come in handy for other meals too. Not easy to clean but otherwise I am pleased.

I absolutely love this pot. I have made numerous loafs of sourdough, soups and pasta. It is heavy but the quality is worth the money and it is a cast iron clean with ease.

I love this pot for cooking. It is heavy. I put dried beans in (a pound), turn it on high, then turn it down when it boils.Dried beans need no overnight soaking! They are soft and ready to eat in an hour.The heat in the pan really stays hot. Doesn't just cook on the bottom. It cooks on the side as he travels up.I don't know how I went all those years without this Dutch oven, cooking for my family

This Dutch oven is very heavy. It’s very nice. I think had I known or realized the weight I would have ordered a smaller size. I do like it. Would recommend purchasing.
