Specialty Diamond PP70 7" Backer Pad for Diamond Polishing, 5/8"x11 Threads (7PADADAPT). This backing pad is used with different diamond grit polishing pads. Wet diamond polishing pads are used with wet polishers or wet grinders. It is flexible and can polish either contoured surface like Ogee, Full Bull nose, Half Bull nose, Bevel, Demi or flat surface. It is recommended to always use with water at rpm 2200 for best results. RPM may vary depending on stones and its hardness with a 4500 max RPM.

This product failed after only 15 or so minutes of use. The rubber disc broke free from the center close to the metal threaded attachment piece. Faulty or defective rubber quality.

garbage pad. broke after about one hour. the metal arbor is just glued in the rubber and came apart in an hour of use.

THIS IS A RUBBER BACKER. low quality, not flat (convex). poor choice for concrete polishing, maybe fine for car polishing.
