I purchased this model used off Ebay, I was skeptical of the generic brand, but its solid. Pretty sure this is a white label Mitutoyo. Repeats. Great for +/- .001" work.

This thing is a beast. I should have bought the 12” version because it’s massive! Very well made and accurate. The majority of its use will be for knife making and small machined parts. The locking mechanism is solid and all parts have a great finish.
