This router plate has a 2mm warp towards one corner that makes it slightly difficult to install. I was able to pull the warp out by using a bolt with a nut in that corner instead of mounting screw. If I hadn't been able to get it flat it wouldn't have been useable.

I own about 8 of these units. Rather than changing the router bit, I have installed permanently the router and router bit on the router plate. I don't have to worry about set ups and speeds up my work with dedicated units.

Description says it fits Bosch 1617EVS. It has the right number and sizes of predrilled holes, but they don't align with the router base. Yes, I could have re-drilled or enlarged, but if I wanted to do that, I'd buy one that tells me I'm going to have to do that. This is the third router table insert I've ordered from Amazon. The first had enough predrilled holes to make Swiss cheese envious but none matched my Bosch. The second was warped. I'm giving one more, a Kreg, a chance; that one tells me right up front I will have to drill the holes for my Bosch. Fingers crossed.

After spending weeks looking for a reasonable insert for the new router table with manual lift (all shop made), I settled upon this item. As far as quality it matches the brand named composite alternative. Although there are less expensive alternatives, and I had ordered and returned many of them, this one passed all the items on the checklist, including flatness. I would recommend this for any shop made routing table build.
