Flat Back Latex Teat
These easy to clean, latex teats are easier than rubber teats for small lambs and kids, but they are less durable. They are the best choice only until days 8-10.
- 2"H x 1 3/8"W
- Latex; Natural Color
Easy Clean Bucket Teat Unit
Quickly turn any bucket into a milk feeder for orphan lambs, goat kids and calves.
- Easier to clean. The unit itself remains on the bucket, while the nipple and flow control pin can be quickly removed for washing.
- Liquid-proof seal! Rubberized red locking nut ensures a tight seal with the bucket wall
- One-way control pin prevents milk from flowing backwards
- Fits a wide range of teats (sold separately)
Bucket, Lid & Bucket Holder
Holes are predrilled for the bucket teat unit. Holes for orphan buckets will be at the exact height on the bucket needed to feed lambs/kids.
A Premier bucket holder is a welded wire bracket that easily drops into place onto wire panels or 1" wood planks, yet holds round and square buckets securely.

Tips for Use
Position the teat(s) as high as a normal mother’s teat, about 9"–12" above the ground.
Why so low? When a young ruminant stretches out its neck to nurse, their esophagus elongates and forms a groove that carries the milk into the 4th stomach (the abomasum).
If the neck is not stretched, the milk falls into the first stomach instead of the 4th. But the first stomach is intended for grass and hay. It doesn’t digest milk well. A first stomach with too much milk enlarges to form a “potbelly”—and the lamb/kid can’t thrive.
Milk Flow
If the milk flow seems too slow, take a sharp knife and carefully enlarge the "X" slit in the end of the teat. Do not cut the end too large or the milk will constantly leak out.

Easy Clean Bucket Teat Unit Assembly
To clean the bucket teat units—unscrew ONLY the blue outer nut. Remove the teat and the flow control pin. Clean off residue with warm soapy water, rinse and reassemble.
Each Bucket Teat Unit includes:
- Outer Nut (secures the teat)
- Flow Control Pin
- Red Locking Nut
- Washer
- Inner Screw
- Suction Extension
