We got this to use for soccer, not hockey, so I can't speak to any hockey-specific takes. The only slight downside to this, is that it is very light, and a really hard shot could easily knock it out of place.But on the positive side, it's really light, so you can pick ip up & move it easily. We can put it out in the yard to play soccer and then bring it back into the garage when we are done. Seems to be well enough made, but this is a $50 net, so if your expectations aren't out of line with that, you should be happy with it.Final thing, the size is good for smaller children. We had a couple of smaller soccer nets before, but they were too easy to defend and it was really hard to score. This is about the perfect size.

Perfect for what we needed. We use it for softball pitch practice. Would be nice if it had a pouch like others. But we knew it didn't when we got it. It still saves from having to have a catcher. Nor chase balls all day. Great product.

Perfect for my youngest son, easy to assembly and light enough to put away when we arent using it, but we are using it alot! Great Goal for kids
