Usage of Mink Oil
In order to use the mink oil, you first need to dust and clean it.

Step 1: Dust
Take a soft lift-free cloth and gently dust off the dirt and debris from the surface of leather.

The product is easy to apply, but you must wipe off even a thin coat, as it is oily (pun intended)! It doesn’t cover scratches in leather, so keep that in mind.

I've had my pair of leather boots for several years now and have been long overdue on touching them up. So when I saw this product, I decided to give it a try. Overall I like this product. It applies pretty well, does not have any scent to it whatsoever and it seems to absorb well in my boots. My partner tried the same mink oil on his leather boots and notably mentioned that there wasn't the typical mink oil scent, which made me suspicious about the actual ingredients. But he was also pleased with how well his boots were restored. Even though the word organic shows up in the marketing, it is not a certified organic product. Lastly, this product has a reasonable price point. At the time of writing this review there was a 20% markdown, which makes it even more affordable. I think between how well our boots came out and the price I'd still recommend this product.

This oil really worked when I used it to repair a scratch on my leather pumps and it also made a leather purse look like new. It helped work out some creases in the leather from me not storing it properly. The oil doesn't have a strong scent to it and while the container is small you shouldn't need to use very much, depending on the size of the item you are working on. I really was impressed with the results BUT I wasn't trying to repair deep scratches. My shoes were just scuffed with slight scratches but the results were way better than I expected. I can't wait to use it on more pairs of shoes! Truly a great product!

I used this oil to refresh my old leather boots. They are still in decent shape, but just looked a bit worn, so I wanted to bring some life back to them with a polish and shine. This mink oil did the trick. I applied it using the sponge applicator and let it sit overnight. The next day I took a cloth and 'buffed' them out and the boots look practically new. I'm very impressed with how well this worked and would recommend it to others.

Mink Oil – Pure Organic, Leather Balm, Leather Restorer, Leather Scratch Remover, Leather Softener, Conditions and Repairs, Water Proof, and UV ResistantFirst impressions: Nice tin of mink oil with a sponge applicator.Installation/setup: Use the sponge to apply a small amount of the balm and massage into the material. Let dry for 10 minutes or so, even overnight, then wipe with a soft cloth.Final thoughts: The mink oil balm worked really well on my brown leather jacket. It’s been in storage for a long time but is in really good shape. The leather was dry but not cracked and the balm was easy to apply. I live in the southwest so I was a bit worried the heat would affect the balm but it worked well, softening the leather and adding the moisture back in. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I used this on a old, mat finish purse that I have. It worked well and while it was shiny going on, it didn't make it shiny in the end (which I am happy about). It doesn't have any smell and the sponge works well. Just remember to leave it on for at least 10 minutes before you buff it off.

It really spiffed up my beat-up leather chair-- it looks WAY better! This stuff works!I haven't yet tried it on shoes.
