Very poor quality. Issues after assembling: There is about 1/2" gap between the front doors when they're closed. Way too large of a gap! in the back, they don't even include a cover for the lower part of the wardrobe, so it's completely open in the lower back where the drawers are. I am in the furniture business and expected this wardrobe from Prepac to be a better quality than what it was. Knowing it was a $250 wardrobe and you get what you pay for, it fit the purpose that I was needing for a temporary closet. However, this was way worse than expected. Everything is predrilled for the hardware, so there's really no room for much error in messing it up or bad workmanship on the customers end. Really easy to put together. Of course, you can't tell how bad it is until you get it completed, and by then it's too late to send it back because you can't get it packaged back up in the same box it came in! I would never purchase this again or anything like it from Amazon, that has to be assembled. It's junk and I can't get my money back unless I ship it back, which we've already determined is impossible! Very disappointed with this piece.

If found the instructions for assembly to be difficult to understand. Plus the item is made out of pressboard which easily broke when I applied too much pressure on one end of the cabinet when I tried to fit the trip piece.

These are very nice cabinets, but for 5 or 6 dollars more, it is DEFINITELY worth getting the expert assembly! It took 2 of us 5 hours or so to put them both together (I bought 2) because nothing was clearly labeled (no stickers on the cabinets marking it, or labels on the bags of screws to know which kind to use, etc). It was a bit of a pain to assemble, but overall, worth the price!Only other thing is one of the cabinets, the inside wall was quite cracked coming out of the box... not sure what happened there, but we were in so deep ag that point and had all the materials out of the box, we just were careful as we assembled it to ensure not to crack it any further. Once it all came together, it was still quite sturdy.

Based on the reviews, I had pretty low expectations for this product and almost did not buy it. Only reason I bought it is because it’s one of the few products that met the dimensions I was looking for and matched the style I was going for.Everything was well packaged and secured. One item did arrive broken as seen in the picture. It was the back part of one of the drawers so super minor. I used wood glue and held it together to dry with clamps and thankfully that solved the issue.The assembly was alright. Nothing was labeled but I took my time, followed the directions and over all it was relatively easy to build just had to be patient and separate the parts. I saw a lot of reviews complain about the doors not fitting correctly. I thought I had the same issue until I realized there are instructions on how to make sure the doors properly align and fit the way you want them to. I posted a picture of the directions.Over all the product is worth the money to me. It was difficult to find a wardrobe that met my dimensions and style so I decided to try my look with this one and I am fairly satisfied with my purchase.

Easy build, quality product, and a lovely size. It’s a perfect heigh for my child to be able to reach their own clothes hanging, and room for extra bins or storage below the hanging clothes. Lovely colour as well!

I don't mind assembeling furniture so even though you assemble each piece together it wasn't terrible. They make it as easy as possible with the hardware they provide. I would recommend using a rubber mallet to pop the hardware that can be popped in. You'll need it to attach the backbored anyway. But it's really nice, and doesn't have any foul orders like some cheap items can have. It is deep enough to fit hangers and cloths unlike other ones I read about that you can't close the doors when you use them for what they're intended for... hanging clothes. Lol but it's very pretty, and sturdy enough especially at the price. It's like Ikea furniture basically. It's not super rock solid but it stays together without worry and does the job it's supposed to. Definitely good for the price, nothing to be disappointed about.

First I'd like to address some of the points other reviewers have made. It seems a lot of people are saying that their armoire isn't very sturdy once they are finnished putting it together. I was a little concerned about this when I bought it, so I made sure that I tightened everything as much as I could and was carful putting the peices together, and I'm happy with the sturdieness of the armoire. It looks decent as well, although there were some small flaws on a few panels due to packaging and shipping, but they supply you with a marker that does an excellent job at touching up any flaws.The armoire only has space to hang shirts, ties, etc. If you try to hang pants they will be touching the bottom. There is also an optional shelf you can put but you won't be able to hang any clothes if you do.Assembly took my quite awhile, the instructions were easy enough to follow if you pay close attention. But I've assebled other things that had much better instructions. So I'm giving this 4 stars. All in all I like the finished product.

We bought this because we needed a place in our kitchen to store a few key items (knife block, blender, mixer) in a way that makes them readily accessible to us, while still protecting them from the cats and the cat hair. This item fits the bill perfectly: we even keep the mixer and blender inside it while using them; just ran their cords out a small hole in the back of the cabinet.Our unit arrived well-packaged and undamaged. It came in two separate packages, both of which were long, wide, flat, and heavy. It was a bit tough moving those into the house with just 1 person, but the actual assembly was simple if you're a reasonably handy person. It took about 3 hours.As for the unit itself: it's pretty nice. It's inexpensive, and I figured it'd be somewhat cheap-looking and cheap-functioning. After having used it a couple months now, my opinion is that it's not cheap-looking at all, and it's only a bit cheap-functioning. For example, the drawers' sliding action isn't very smooth. And the doors are just a tiny bit too closely-spaced to each other (with no way to adjust that via the hinges that I could figure out), so they press against each other where they meet in the center when both doors are closed. This actually doesn't end up being a problem because that edge on both doors is rounded, so they just kind of slide against each other and into place; it's just a bit weird.All in all we're quite happy with this item.
