Does the job. Only complaint is anytime the power supply is plugged in the light stays red. It does not turn green when charged. You have to remove the radio and turn it on to see the screen battery indicator to see if it's charged.

I decided to get this desktop charger cradle for the Randy and Randy II walkie-talkie. It allows you to charge your radios standing up instead of having to use the bottom charger attachment that comes with the radios. It's more convenient to use the cradle and looks professional too sitting next to my other radios sitting in their charging cradles. I like that the radio 'snaps' into the cradle to ensure a good electrical contact, but on few occasions I picked up the radio and walked off only to have the cradle follow me attached to the radio. You have to hold on to the cradle and give it a good pull to separate them. But, I don't mind... just have to remember to hold the cradle when removing the radio, unlike my Icom, Yaesu and Baofeng radios.

Does what it was bought to do, I don't like that it doesn't come with it's own power supply cord for the price.

This product does charge the President Randy but it's hard to get in and out of. A redesign is in order for this.

I do not know why this has an LED red light on it, it does nothing when charging?It just shows you it's plugged in, and stays Red no matter what the charge state is?But, as just a stand, it works well enough.Overpriced, yes, but I bought it as it was cheaper than every other seller out there.

Owners of the President Randy FCC handheld CB radio will find this charger very convenient. Just plug the charging cable into the back of this desktop dock and slide in the radio. It is solidly built and I've not had any issues nor do I have any complaints. I'm actually considering buying another to use in a location that I frequently visit. Desktop charging docks like this are wonderful and convenient. If you are on the fence, go for it. You'll be very happy with the purchase. I definitely recommend this unit.
