Awful software. Rarely works on my computer, even after changing drivers, changing computers, etc. It almost never boots properly, the headphone out frequently fails, requiring reboots and or replugging the USB jack. If I screw around long enough, I can usually get it to work, but it requires an extra half hour to hour of setup every time I want to use it, and the solutions are unpredictable and non-repeatable. The mic sounds OK, IF you can get it to work. Their tech support has not been helpful at all, and of course, but now it is far after the return period. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROPHONE.

This is a beautiful product that came with a lot of extras. Problem is the feedback between the computer fans and the mic, the sound is clear and the modes work but it’s a bit complicated

The software that comes with it and the sound quality makes this the best condenser mic in the price range imo.

I bought for podcast recording and there is no single minute in my recording without crackling noise. While trying so many setting and buying new cables, changing my pc electricity plug, I lost the return window and I am stuck with this mic.

Originally, I purchased the PreSonus Revelator Dynamic USB Microphone. I was very impressed by the sound quality. I am not sure why some called this a toy. Prior to purchasing this mic, I sang on the Starmaker app. Compared to using the mic on my Samsung 24 Ultra, this mic is such a huge improvement vocally. It cuts out the background noise. I even tested it with a fan. The audio was clear.THIS does work with smartphones! However, it did not come with a c to c type USB cord. You will need to purchase that separately in order to use it with an Android. Also, to hear yourself singing or any audio track, you must also have earbuds/headphones inserted into the mic jack. The Dymnamic is perfect for someone wanting to set up a studio where you can quickly plug and unplug your smartphone/device.I have not tried using the software yet, but it appears to have everything I would need as a beginner/intermediate singer. The Dynamic IT is large. I was not anticipating the size. It definitely needs to be used with a mic stand.I also purchased the PreSonus Revelator USB Condenser Microphone, which will be arriving within the next week. The Condenser mic I am hoping will give me more portability. I travel to and from work, and so I am hoping it will be just as easy to use.#Sound Quality, #Plug & Play, #Easy of Use, #Value for Money.

Micrófono a buen precio pero no me gustó la calidad de grabación. Mala estabilidad de la base de sujeción y dos botones frontales que por situación se pulsan accidentalmente más de lo debido. Devuelto sin mas

I have several XLR mics and audio interfaces for my podcast and YouTube channel, and I am have used many USB condenser mics over the years as well. I wanted to test out a USB Dynamic mic, but didn't want to buy the cheap-o brand, and didn't want to buy the very expensive brand either. This Presonus fit perfectly in the middle, so it was worth a gamble.I also have both Revelator audio interfaces, so I was familiar with the software behind these devices. But I was curious to see how it integrated with the Dynamic mic. I'm happy to say that you can basically fine tune this mic much like you would with any other PreSonus interface or pre-amp. The only difference is, you can simple just plug this right into your computer without needing another device on your desk. It's semi plug and play if you want. But then you can go into the software and setup your four presets, which are accessible from the microphone itself. You can also adjust the gain right from the mic. Very handy!I'm very happy with the mic, and it will be put to the test for my next few podcast episodes!

Easy to setup, the limiter is quite harsh so i recommend turning that down if your audio is clipping in and out often, but overall such a great mic. Was a bit skeptical about usb c microphone since im coming off of a xlr, but it was definitely worth the change for ease of use and cables.

This microphone has a load of settings but there are two problems with it that renders it useless. The playback has crackling sound regardless of what settings you use.The recording has crackling sound regardless of what setting you use.The software and the hardware is seriously underpowered. Invest in pro-audio gear if you are an artist and want to record.

My podcast was suffering with bad mic quality after iTunes discontinued the Bossjock podcast software. I'd used 19" studio rack mounted gear prior to that, with expensive mics and patchwork software. This mic solved all the problems. Try to find the Youtube of Sweetwater's extensive review of this product. It comes with software that is fully configurable and works so well - it's really shocking how good this setup is. To top it off, the company has a TON of amazing Youtubes on How to for Studio One recording software...which is also included - with a ton of great plugins - for FREE with the mic!!! My only complaint is that the cords going into the bottom sucks very bad for the desktop stand that they include. They need to come out the back because this setup is terrible. But that is the only negative I can say after using this for about the past 15 shows of The 12-Step Buddhist Podcast. Check it out, the sound is great because of this mic!

The mic is a really good sounding mic. This seems to be designed for musicians who want to Zoom call perform or live stream. In my experience, you have to use the ASIO driver for the mic to get the best out of it on a Zoom live, etc. - otherwise I get clicks and pops. The Universal Control software seems really cool especially because you can have multiple mixes and can add reverb/effects to your performance. To me the reverb is just ok - barely. It adds a little but it just isn't a good sounding reverb to my ears - short, medium or long decay all sound sort of fake. Maybe I just expect too much. Also - sometimes the effects just don't seem to get into the mix that you are sending over the stream. Even when the reverb level is up in the mix that you have chosen for your Zoom call, sometimes it is just dry. Things are either glitchy or not explained well - because I cannot figure it out.I really do think the mic and the sound is very good by itself (but so is a Yeti or a Samson G Track) but if you have expectations that the reverb and the effects will enhance your performance - well maybe not as much as you may think - in fact it may hurt the performance. I know it helps if you don't suck to begin with. I do wonder why some other manufacturer (Sure, Rode, Blue) has not put together a USB mic with effects (reverb, compression, delay) that is reliable, sounds great, and is plug and play without needing a separate interface and software.
