I had to put washers between the legs of the pump and the bottom of the base of the washer to get it to tighten. Also for the price of the pump which is $25 more than others on Amazon they don't supply any hardware. So you better keep your old bolts and nuts oh and the key stock for the motor shaft because they give you nothing.

Installation was slightly more difficult than it should have been b/c i had just filled up the gas tank, and didn't want to drain so I could lay on it side/upside down to install. But, it was generally easy overall. When I first fired up the engine and squeezed, the motor had some serious vibrations. It would bog down quite a bit - almost to the point of stalling a couple of times. I eased up on the trigger and let the motor catch up. Rinse and repeat a few times and then it starting running smoothly with solid pressure. I guess it needed a slight break-in period.I don't use the washer that often - so hopefully this will have a good 10 year life as well.

I ordered from another source but it didn't have the bolt pattern so I got on Amazon and found this one with the right bolt pattern and it bolted right up. It works great. The first one said it would fit the troy bilt pressure washer, I even had the number off the old pump and campared the numbers to the new one but it didn't fit.

The product was exactly as described. The hole spacing fit my Troy-Bilt power washer perfectly, though I did have to add some lock nuts as spacers. Builds and maintains pressure like a new washer. Four stars instead of five until I see how long it lasts, but I recommend it as a replacement pump.UPDATE: Four years later the pump is still going strong. Five stars!

Broken with first use. Pump lost low pressure for soap half way thru house wash.

I loved the way it fit on my 18 year old pressure washer. Just make sure you know the bolt pattern, and shaft size. And this is easy. Takes about 5 minutes to install, with one more set of hands, to hold the engine in place. Good job

Pump is fine but I had to put spacers in to make it work on briggs as the oil drain plug caused it not to bolt up.

Arrived well packed. Installation was easy but did require the 1/2 inch steel spacers. The spacers are needed because the motor shaft hole in the original pump is deeper than the hole on the replacement pump. The bolts were still long enough. The motor on my pressure washer is a Honda. You will need a 13MM open end wrench and a 6MM hex wrench. Be careful when you have the pump removed because the same bolts hold the motor to the frame and it could fall off. You need the open end wrench because only one of the nuts is accessible with a ratchet. Will be a couple weeks before I can try out the pump but I don't expect any problems.
