We love the skillet we actually have 3. Used the heck outta the first for several years, but the Teflon is a little worn. Bought 1 a few months ago, I know they won't have this depth and collapsible frame of skillet forever so we decided to get another a couple months later. It went up in price but thought it was still worth it. When I pulked it out of the box and Styrofoam the plug in area 9nbtgw base was bent. It seemed to be new, but I had to take plyers and bed it back into shape. No easy task. I assume this must have bent on the assembly line. I didn't want to send it back.Anyway... The griddle is great too, but the skillet is great. It's deep, large, easy to disassemble for cleaning and to reassemble. It can all go in the dishwasher which I will do on occasion, especially if the base gets grungy in the cracks. But I usually hand wash it with a paper towel and soap and water so the Teflon doesn't get abused with scrubbers claiming to be safe for these surfaces... they are not. When I stipped using so-called safe scrubbers and instead used a paper towel, the Teflon lasted much longer. It will eventually show wear from heat and use of wooden plastic utensils, but you will extend the life not ever scrubbing. Add some water to the skillet before it has a chance to cool, let it steam and there is no need to scrub. The heating element does a great job on performance. It has better surface coverage than many similar styles. The removable frame will collapse and fold into the base and everything fits inside nicely. You can flip the lid upside down to make it more streamline I do recommend that you set a paper towel or dish towel inside so the base and the plug do not scratch the Teflon. I decided not to dock them a star due to the bent part because overall this has been a favorite product of ours for years.

I got a presto electric frying pan and a presto grill combo .. I have been using one or the other almost every day .. the finish is a delight non stick .. easy clean up .. the frying pan is so easy it starches from the handle .. the handle/stand folds up and fits inside the fry pan for easy storage.. ( I line the pan with paper towels to prevent scratches) it cooks like a dream. Fry’s chicken beautifully . ( much to my husbands delight) seriously I would recommend these products

I had forgotten about this Brand PRESTO . I am currently on Oxygen , so I can not use conventional electric of gas stove appliances. I had stopped cooking turning the cooking over to my husband . Presto electric fry pan has unexposed heating elements , so I can cook again. (Safely) with oxygen on. The BONUS ; cooking steak or Chicken the meat gets a nice braise on the outside, then using plastic tongs so I don’t perice the meat so it stays moist. , with a nice outside. Ended up buying 2 other PRESTO appliances to achieve full course meals . Thank you PRESTO . Easy to use, easy clean up , can keep food warm . Thankful !!!

First off, it works like it should does everything a skillet should do right. Holds consistent temp, surface is nicely non-stick, and cover for skillet is solid and keeps splatter contained. The base unit folds up in a way that allows it to sit inside the skillet when stored. System is very well designed and feels solid. If you don't mind one extra step to attach the base, the space savings is a nice feature. We don't use the smaller unit as much but it conveniently uses the same temp controller/power cord. Glad to have the option, but we'd be more likely to go to the Blackstone grill outside for most things the smaller skillet excels at.

I absolutely love the way the heating element/coils are designed. I previously owned a skillet that every time I washed it (obviously trying to be careful that this wouldn't happen) water would run down into the heating element. I found after time, it started to make my skillet cook on one temperature only which was high. It didn't matter what the temperature was set to. hope this makes senselol
