I came across this tape and glad I did!It’s absolutely amazing! It won’t hurt anything and will stay in tact until you remove it. It even held a throw rug in place on our porch. I’m amazed, I use it for everything! Will order again even though you get a huge roll. I don’t want to run out of this tape!

Loved this tape. Sticks and holds like no other. Very easy to remove. However, taking it off the strip u have to be very careful it does not stick to itself especially if using a long strip. I use it to wrap puppies ears after they have been docked

I bought a roll of this carpet tape 2 years ago and it worked great on hall runners and a living room rug. In October of this year I used up the roll to hold down a 4x10 rubber mat and again it worked great. Then I bought a new roll for another 4x10 rubber mat. It did not hold the mat down! This new roll is not the same. I noticed that the backing paper on the new roll has a texture while the old roll backing paper was smooth. Don't buy this tape.

Well, we ordered this product for an unconventional usage. We have a cat that like to get on counters and when the old spray bottle isn't effective, one of the ideas for deterring a recalcitrant cat is to use two sided tape on place mats and leave them on the counters where the cat likes to jump and they get the message quick with the sticky tape. So we ordered the tape because its a large roll and we can put strips across the place mats and leave then for Mr. curious. It seems to work as she is avoiding the sticky place mats, so I guess you could say it was effective. Its difficult and generally expensive to buy two sided cellophane tape, so this wide carpet tape works well in this instance.

Didn't use it for carpet but for a table saw template. I was looking for a thin double sided tape to temporarily bond a metal straight edge to a piece of Kydex plastic and this product worked perfectly. It held a strong bond to both materials but was easily removed without leaving a residue. I've seen similar uses on woodworking TV shows and always wondered what tape they were using. If this isn't it, it was close enough to make no difference. I don't know how I ever got along without it.

We purchased this to use under our Rubber Duct Cord Coverup that we had to run across the floor at the entrance of our kitchen. We placed some double sided tape on the bottom just to keep it from moving. We hardly even notice it when walking into the kitchen thanks to the tape holding it in place. It was easy to cut and easy to peel off both sides of the tape. Excellent product- highly recommend.

It worked perfectly for a couple weeks and then pulled up from the hard wood floor and also separated from the rug. In the first two weeks I thought I had found a solution to my curled up hallway runner rug and avoided tripping and falling. It works for a while but not long enough. I do like it that it doesn't leave any residue but that was only for a couple weeks. I'm still glad I bought it and will use it again even if I have to put new tape down every couple of weeks. Thank you!

There are no directions so we tried to do just the corners. That worked well for small carpets and it solved tripping problems we were having. For larger carpets, you may have to run the tape all down the edges. Didn't work on a small rug that has a problem curling up on one side, but on all the other rugs we used it for, it holds well.
