This cage is flimsy, making it difficult to hang anything on the bars, hard to secure the perches. My birds would use the bars to get down, and they can no longer do this. It's bright/colorful but it's not working. I don't recommend this product.

Good points: comes with 2 food cups, and 4 dowel rod perches, fast shipping, sturdy base, very tall, bars seem strong.Problems: the instructions have very few written details, and the pictures are not big enough or detailed enough. There is only the one door at the bottom, so if you need to get your bird and it’s at the top, you will have to take off the top of the cage. That gives too much room for escape. The cage has two levels a top and bottom that have to be hooked together separately then stacked and hooked together to complete the cage. This is more like a two person job, as the top half doesn’t stay stable while you’re trying to connect it to the bottom. The hooks on the sides do not bend and there’s a gap on each side.I’m returning this for an 18x24” cage where my Tiel will feel much more comfortable.5/10 for how hard it was to build. Would recommend for birds smaller than a Cockatiel, good Finch or Parakeet cage. Be mindful of the single door if you buy this.

I bought this cage to keep at our camper for our cockatiel. I was moving it and it fell apart (thank goodness our cockatiel wasn’t inside at the time). Now it is bent at the top, but will still be usable while we are camping.

Wouldn’t buy this ever again. I’m returning it. It’s so hard to assemble and it doesn’t actually fit on itself. It’s shaky and cheaply thin.

I was very pleasantly surprised about this cage! I bought it for some rats I will be getting soon, as it is an appropriate size for 2 rats! You can fit a LOT in this cage. It’s very tall, and very sturdy. I was thoroughly Impressed!It wasn’t that hard to put together. The instructions weren’t very useful but it was fairly self explanatory.I will say that putting the top on the cage was pretty finicky and I actually had to use a zip tie because one of the closures was too small to lock on to the cage. It is also SUPER annoying that there isn’t doors on the upper half of the cage because it makes hanging things from the top very fiddley.Ultimately it is a pretty good cage and I’m lookibg forward to having some new pets in it!

I ordered the periwinkle color but the cage is only 24 inches tall, not 36 as described as the tall cage. I've received this item twice now and both are the correct product number but wrong size. I believe this is an issue with Prevue Pet Products directly and not the sellers fault. It is listed wrong on their direct website as well. I ordered the cage in yellow to see if it will be the correct size. Do not order the periwinkle color unless you want the smaller size cage.
