I bought this as a temporary pick guard and was very pleased with its tone. Simple to install if you know what you’re doing and if you don’t you can easily just search it up. Bang for your buck for sure

Sound is OK, I guess you get what you pay for... Knobs are cheap but I am replacing them anyway. Pick Guard scratched up, not sure why they come that way, its like no one cares. Getting a new one swapped out. If the new one comes in fine I will adjust my review.

I purchased one before; installed on a St copy and was very impressed with the sound & tone. So I ordered another for my Mexi Strat. Real nice tones !It’s a good deal all-round. Just solder 3 connections and your good go !! :)Thx Bob

First thing I noticed was it looks like either the pickups were messed up or some debris got caught up in the openings of the bridge pickup. Hesitant to actually install this since it looks way worse than the other pickups. When I pulled it out of the plastic a random loose metal washer fell from somewhere. No idea what is was for. Also the knobs feel like really really cheap plastic. Anyone know what’s up with this?

I bought this to fix up the first electric guitar I got about 25 years ago, a squier bullet. Having never done this kind of thing before, I found the installation a little tricky - some soldering, obviously, but I also had to deepen the guitar cutouts, drill some new holes for screw placement, and dremel the pickguard a bit to make it fit. Even so, nothing too hard, even with no prior experience.Afterwards, the guitar looked great. And it sounds better than it ever did. It’s like a whole new instrument, and I love it. Good product, and I’m thrilled with the result.

Great quality, great people, great sound and great value!!!! When I received the pick guard it was missing the tip on the selector switch. I emailed the seller and she was very nice and we sorted it out right away! Love the look and sound of the pick guard and electronics but also the top notch customer service!Update,Over the years I have received many compliments on the looks and sound from this setup! For the price I don't think you can do better. Nothing has broke or worn out. I use this about every other week and sounds great and never fails.

The push-pull pot and the BIG capacitor made me have to deepen the body, so keep that in mind. The pickguard is plastic with some kind of treatment to look like rosewood. I transferred everything to a matte black guard. This thing sounds great!

Nice electronics, nice thick wire. well made material, very rigid and thick. It doesn't really have shine like aluminum or anything but looks great, almost a wood grain look. Just like any aftermarket products, I had to drill holes for 3 screws. As far as pre-loaded pick guards goes, it' s a winner at this price. Surprisingly nice tone. I installed on an Alvarez electric. I highly recommend this product. If you are looking for a very nice upgrade to just about any entry to mid level guitar, this is it!
