As stated, these rings are very nice. They are light and well built with smooth threads. I was really looking forward to using them, however they (like advertised) did not fit my Weaver base for my Remington 597. I have yet to find a Picatinny base for my model .22lr so I need something that fits a Weaver base. I was not fond of grinding or modifying the base to accomodate for the bolts in the rings, so I ended up returning them and buying Weaver specific rings.**If you have a picatinny rail/base, these are amazing rings and you will be happy! If you have a Weaver rail/base, they may not work depending on how close to spec the gaps in the weaver rail are.**

Did not fit on my Remington 700 rail... And its suppose to be better than the UTG's I had previously... The rings will not sit inside the rail grooves... It suppose to fit both Picatinny and Weaver rails... I had high hopes but was highly dissapointed... On top of that, when I received my package, the rings were inside the Amazon box but were outside the package... Both of them... The only way for that to happen is if someone took them out of the packaging and just threw them in the box... I hope this is just a bad ring that was package by a bad handler person... I don't usually give bad reviews but if they would have fit, Im pretty sure they would have been great rings... Hopefully...
